well tonight's episode has just been added to the pile of already great episodes that this show has put out in only 2 years. words fail me as to how incredible this one was and i think that next week's will top this one. how? i don't know but if i have learned anything while watching this show it is not to ever doubt aaron sorkin and his writing prowess. while i won't spoil the ending for those on the west coast who are catching as i type, it hit me like a ton of bricks. i kinda could see what was coming but even though i knew what would happen, when it actually got there....oh man was it hard to take. this is one show that delivers on all the hype. the last 5 minutes indeed.....

I agree that this show is the best show on TV, and last night's episode was no exception, but I felt a bit gipped by "the final two minutes." They built it up all week as something extraordinary and then to me it was nothing more than a shameless publicity stunt.

While I thought Sopranos deserved to beat West Wing last year in the Emmys (which it did not), I think West Wing has been better than Sopranos this year. Excellent writing, and I am a viewer who is opposed to probably 90% of what the Bartlett administration advocates (especially the tobacco case).
Also, if I ever needed a lawyer, Oliver Babbish would be my choice in a heartbeat.

I think that the commercials and hype did a disservice to the tragic ending and the subtleties used to convey it.
I just feel that the scenes would have had an even greater affect if they had not pimped the end of the show.
Is next week really the last episode!?!?
When will season 1 be on DVD? Anyone?

I loved the whole non-verbal ending, and the extended takes they did through the distorted glass panes... Nice when TV visuals can make a moment, like good movie cinematography...
