How strong was the alliance between Colby and Tina?

The reason I ask this question is because there was a point in the game where Tina and Colby did not vote the same way: It was when Amber was voted out of the game. Tina and Keith voted for Amber (along with Rodger and Elisabeth), while Colby and Amber voted for Rodger. Colby's voting comment was something like, "Just going down the batting order."
So, this begs the question: How strong was this alliance, and did it really form when they colluded to vote Mitchell off?

It makes you wonder why Elisabeth and Rodger voted for Amber, unless somehow there was another alliance going one with Tina and Keith. Damn, that Tina worked the room!
If Elisabeth and Rodger vote for Colby, while Amber and Colby vote for Rodger, and Tina and Keith vote for Amber, then guess who gets the boot? Colby gets the boot, due to the previous accumulated vote tie-breaker. Hmmm...

I have a feeling it was stronger for Colby than it was for Tina. I think if she had won immunity, she would have voted Colby off--she was very shrewd that way. But to Colby, he'd given his word to their alliance, so he was keeping her.
