Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I feel left behind by all these funky edits people are doing with the gifs here at DVDTalk. Thanks.

You really should get PhotoShop or equivalent to create cool images ... if you just want to do simple touch ups, try IrfanView here:

If you're looking for a FREE image editor, you may want to try out GIMP. While it's main proponents are Linux users, I believe there is a Windows version of it as well. Its supporters claim that GIMP offers greater extensibility over Photoshop because of its geeky roots. However, its interface may not be as friendly as Photoshop, and to my knowledge, it still lacks color profiling. In any case, GIMP is a competent image editor that is also FREE.
