Ipod in-car help

So I just bought the Belkin "tune cast auto with clearsound" to listen to the ipod through the radio in the car. When I press the clear scan button and find the station he seems pretty clear and a then a few seconds, or if I move my ipod I get all static and sometimes that station completely comes thru. Could my xm radio be affecting this?

It could be the xm radio possibly. But the most likely culprit is the fact that all fm broadcasters consistently suck. Find a way to connect it directly to your head unit.

Sometimes where you have the transmitter can make a difference. I have better luck putting the ipod/transmitter on the dash above the radio rather than down on the console.
