Yahoo email help. I spelled my name wrong, and it won't let me change it.

Ok, so I accidently capitialized the 2nd letter of my last name so it looks like OSwald. I've tried changing it but when I email someone my name still shows up in the inbox as OSwald. Is there another place to change it? Or am I stuck with it? Everywhere under my Yahoo ID Card shows "Oswald".

I may have to set up another email address if I can't get it fixed because its my "professional" email and I'll be sending my resume out.

I may change it anyway because I have "24" after my last name (since my name was taken already) and too many people associate it with Jeff Gordon. I took it from my birthday.

Do you mean the "From" name? You can change that, it's in the accounts or options section.

Yes, the "from" name (they way it appears in someone's inbox). I've tried changing it in the accounts/options sections but it's still coming up as capital.

Try changing it to something completely different then changing it back to the proper case.

Maybe its not detecting the difference in case when you change it? Also, not sure if yahoo needs the change to replicate across servers?
