What are some must have Firefox extensions?

I've only recently started using Firefox as my browser. It kicks all sorts of ass copared to IE. I really dig the tab feature, it makes opening many articles at one time possible and allows for multiple homepages.

Just wondering what you guys thought were necessary extenstions to add?

Here's what I use.

Tab Mix Plus - Without it I'd still be on IE/Maxthon. Period.
Forecast Fox - Weather updates.
AdBlock Plus - Blocks ads.
Filterset.G Updater - Automatically updating ad filter set. Beautiful.

I used to have more installed (mostly web developer stuff) but Firefox got more clunky and memory leaky than it was on its own with each extension installed. These are the essentials to me except maybe the weather one.

After seeing this thread I remember Beta 2 was out and popped it on my workstation.

Two things that make me happy:

Session Saving (that's one of many parts that made Tab Mix Plus a requirement)
In-line spell checking = SEXY!

I like using the Flash blocker (can't remember the name). Pages load faster and you don't have to worry about things blowing your speakers out. You can still click on the icon in that area to play it if you want to.

Is there an "install and go" spell-checker extension? I found one, but it was accompanied by a multi-step configuration and installation, including downloading dictionaries, etc. Not worth, especially since my spelling is already pretty gud.

Like PixyJunket, I keep my extensions to a minimum to keep Firefox lean, so I just use the essential ones:

DuplicateTab: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/28/

RestartFirefox: http://jedbrown.net/1.0/mozilla/extensions/

SearchPluginHacks: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1563/

Don't you feel this is overkill, since Adblock Plus now automatically subscribes to several block lists?

I have two must-have extensions that aren't listed yet:

Forecastfox
Bookmark Synchronizer

I actually didn't know that, I've just had the extensions installed for about a year now doing their own things.

After success on the work PC I installed Firefox 2 Beta 2 on my home computer as my primary. Tab Mix Plus has a dev build up for the beta but it seems to act very wonky so I removed it. Nightly Tester Tools (which I had to search for, it's no longer on Mozilla's site) let me install Forecast Fox as it was currently not updated. I'm still getting used to the native tab behavior (and their huge freaking size) but I think with session saving being standard now I might be able to live (for now) without Tab Mix Plus.

I use Mouse Gestures and FasterFox extensions.

(WARNING: be very careful using FasterFox, though. If you try to run it at maximum speed you will get a lot of unpleasant browser stuttering.)

Not an extension I don't think, but I use FireTune in concert with FasterFox . Really gets things moving!
