Monitor to TV

I can't figure out how to do this. I would like to have my computer display the contents that appear on my monitor to my television. I have a yellow video cable going from the two of them but not happens.

Am I missing something?

Your message is a little confusing. You want your computer to display to your TV right? You need a graphics card with "TV-Out" capability. The monitor has nothing to do with it. Verify you have this capability then connect via the highest quality connection available, composite RCA is the worst, S-Video little better, Component is good, DVI is best. Your graphics card software should have a setup menu that allows you to "Turn ON" or "Enable" the TV output. Set your TV to the correct input and voila. Dont expect great results with a low resolution TV it will be pretty bad. HDTV's can display an acceptable signal via component or DVI.
