Video Editing Software Question?

Hello.
I have been using Ulead Videostudio 5.0 since I started editing on my computer for a few years now. I recently got version 7.0 and while its similar, etc there is NO DISSOLVE in the transitions! (One that I use the most) So needless to say I never use the 7.0 and keep working w/ 5.

I've been thinking there are probably a lot more neat things that are available to do now with newer software and am looking for a reccomended program. I have heard the Pinnacle one has alot of issues, and I just saw "SONY Vegas Movie Studio" at CCity and it looked very good. Anyone have experince with it or have any other reccomendations?

I use Nero for making my dvds, and it looks like this Vegas has its own dvd creation part which would be nice.

I do wedding videography on the side, so anything that would related to that would be helpful.
Thanks

Apparently there IS a dissolve in version 7, it's just kind of hiding. Try searching the Help.

Just by scanning what I found by doing a Google search on Crossfade Ulead Videostudio 7, I believe it does.
