Video Screen Capture?

I'm looking for a free video screen capture program. Something like this:
http://www.fraps.com

Download.com had this:
CapturePad 0.1

Are either of these any good? I want to capture a video of everything that is happening on the screen. Basically, I want to make a tutorial for Microsoft Excel. Instead of describing the events, it would be much better if the learners can see which buttons are clicked, what is typed, etc. I guess I could set up a video camera pointing at the screen, but if a software can do it, that'd be better.

I know you said free, but in case you can't find anything suitable you could try the free trial download of TechSmith's Camtasia Studio. I believe it's a full featured 30-day eval copy that should help you with your project.

Try this one, I have been using it for a while, and am very happy with it:

Does this do motion? Or just still capture? I don't see anything on the web site about capturing motions ...

Oops. Sorry, I misunderstood your question. No, screengrabpro only does still capture.

It looks like TechSmith's SnagIt can do it in case you have a problem with their Camtasia. They may have a free trial of SnagIt.
