How long do your batteries last before recharge?

I just got one and it seems like my batteries only last about a week, seems like they should last longer.

A week for me too, but it could be less depend on usage - and I'm using a 2300 mAH battery - not the one supplied by Logitech. If you want longer battery life, you should picked up the MX1000 instead - it has lithium battery.

Never really found out how long the batteries would last because I would just pop the mouse back on the cradle when I wasn't using it.

Both to recharge the batteries and to keep it away from the kids. Alas, they busted it and it doesn't work anymore and haven't done anything about it. Am using a ~ 10 dollar MS optical corded mouse and it's fine. I don't get too stressed if the kids whack it.

I used the NiMh 1850 mah batts in the retail package and it should last at least a week. NiMh is cheap nowadays so pick up some 2300 mah batts and forget about them.

I don't understand why you would need more than a week. Just recharge it.

Did I say I needed more than a week? I just thought batteries would last longer than that..... Normal AA batteries last a month or more.

Seems to me you implied you need more than a week. Oh well, whatever. Mine lasts about a week as well.

I probably need some new batteries. Mine only last about few days or just over a day if I do mouse-intensive activities like gaming. But I always have it recharge over night, so it is never an issue unless I forget. I'm using the original batteries, which are almost 2 years old at this point.

I also am not sure how long mine lasts since I just put it back in the cradle when it's not in use. I'm sure it would probably be a week though, from what others have said.
