How do you make pictures BIGGER?

THREAD DISCLAIMER: As far as I can remember, I started this thread in the "Other Forum", requesting help on how to increase the size of a sketch that I posted in another thread. Since then, I have received the information that I requested, and I am most pleased, but due to an unseen turn of events, I'm presently on the Lamb and running away from the Law.

To my amazement, the DVD Talk "Powers that be" have moved this thread (in an attempt to protect me from being apprehended by Law Enforcement) from the Other Forum, then to the Feedback Forum, and now (the last time I checked, anyway) it's been safely hidden here, in the "Dungeon of DVD Talk" (where nobody EVER looks), AKA: The Hot Deals Forum. &

(Thanks Fellas! )

Story Developing...

...and now, may I present the Original thread:
___________________________

Take this pic for example:

This is what the properties info looks like:

http://pstr-m02.ygpweb.aol.com/data4...h55pKE0060.jpg

I used to be able to change the "60" at the very end to like "120" or "180", and it would increase the size, but lately it doesn't work anymore.

Is there some sort of "magic picture formula" that you can share with me?

Thanks!

Paul

Does anyone know anything about changing the numbers in the "properties" to increase the size?

Not sure what you're trying to ask, Paul.

Just like Thor, all I've done is change the number at the end of the HTML code... Seems to work just fine. Just hit quote to see the codes...

What isn't working for you?

Howdy, Adam!

Oh yeah, I know about the "quote thing" to find ALL THE SECRETS!!!

You see...

When I used to change the number at the end of the properties it would enlarge the picture but it remained clear.

Like this one from Thor's Webpage:

See how it's clear? I mean, without the pixilation?

This was the original thumbnail size:

I made it big like that (the larger one above) by changing the last number in the properties of the thumbnail: from 0060 to 0180 (if you check the properties on both pics you'll see) and it magically enlarged it from the small size you see here, to the larger one, but changing the numbers now doesn't work anymore.

AOL recently did something to change it, but I haven't been able to figure out what it is...YET!

THEEK!

No!

That's just an exaggeration in the picture for comedy's sake!

(Although, I DO sometimes get ice cream in it! )

still seems to work, and no pixelation. Must be a feature of AOL picture hosting.

If the big one of me eating the sandwitch that I posted is stretched, that's okay, because it's clear.

The other ones of me eating an ice cream cone apart from the small one are blurry in comparrison.

I'm trying to make the small one larger but I want to keep the "clear" (without having to go to Scientology), like the larger one of me eating a sandwitch.

SHHHH, Noidy!!!

Because of my apparent so-called, "CRIME" at the ice cream store (of which I have no recollection, I might add... ), my pals here at DVD Talk (AKA: the Moderators or Administrators, or even Geoff himself) are safely hiding me in here so's I don't get nabbed by the Cops!

TEK! (AKA: )
