Windows 2000- I need to delete the current Dial up and add a new one.

Someone messed up my friend's computer pretty bad trying to configure it for a LAN connection at her work.

Now her dial up is not working at all

She keep getting the web page "ispware" or SOMETHING like that..

And nothing else loads

At first it says there is a password error. Looking at the password screen it looks like it keepos "doubling" the password (from 6 to 8 or 12 characters, represented by '*')

The connection WILL eventually connect at a rate of around 41.2 or so, but then nothing will load from that one page. Outlook will not work either

So, first thing I would think is that we delete that Dial up and install a new one

Any help with that?

to delete the existing connection..
right click my network places, go to properties
youll be looking at your connections
delete the current dialup one and then hit make new connection and create a new one
