Internet Pictures Buildup

I just stumbled upon a folder that holds a bunch of items on my computer. A lot of them seem to be old pictures from websites that I had visited months ago like ads and banners. There is also other items that I cannot tell what they are. They seem to take up a pretty large chunk of my memory. Is it safe to just completely delete the whole file? It's listed as C:\Documents and Settings\Robert\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\85...

Yes, you can delete them. One way is to go into File Explorer, right-click on the C: drive, choose Properties, then click on Disk Cleanup. It will churn for a while, and then you can choose which categories of files you want to delete. Temp Internet files will be listed, so check off that category.
Also, there are programs out there that will do this automatically on a schedule.

You can also go to Tools>Internet Options and click the "Delete Files" button in the "Temporary Internet Files" section if you're using Internet Explorer.
