New MSN Messenger 6.0 This Summer

Kinda old news (from a month ago), but here's Microsoft's press release:
http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/p...0millionPR.asp

Sneak Peek here:
http://messenger.msn.com/support/sneakpeek.asp

Rumor has it that it will also have chat logging (like ICQ).

I'm to lazy to read the list.

Does it have "INVISIBLE" mode? That's the only thing I hate about MSN's program.

The current version has invisible mode. Just set your status to "appear offline."

This looks better since you can also play games with the person you are chatting with as well having a webcam with it.

I know it has it but can you post while in it? Previous versions would -NOT ALLOW- this. ON Yahoo Messenger you can post while invisible.

I don't blame you for your smartass remark.

It was my fault for not explaining what I meant.

Nope, MSN won't let you send IM's while you appear OFFLINE. ICQ and Yahoo Messenger will let you send IM's while offline.

What they really need is a IM program that will tell you accurately two things about who you are chatting with:

1. Is she really a chick?

2. Is she hot or not?

Yeah, you can't post while in it.

I don't do much online chatting (would rather use the phone) so I just set it to invisible when I'm busy and don't have time to talk to anyone so it's not an issue for me.

One thing you can do is ... block everybody. Then unblock them only when you want to talk to them. Then block them back when you're done. They'll just think that you logged on ... talked to them ... and logged off.
