no, i am not downloading porn (i am sure i would get help if i admitted that) i am trying to join a chat room. however, i keep getting the message "unable to load applet. you may need to download an updated version of the Microsoft VM from: http://www.microsoft.com/java
however, that website was written by a nazi bastard with a bad sense of humour. no clue what in the hell it is saying or how to load this darn thing or even what i am looking for. that clue anyone in?

I think Microsoft stopped supporting Java due to a lawsuit with Sun. Try the software at this link and see if it solves your problems:

It depends on what Operating System you're running, but the bottom line is that the folks at Sun don't much care for Microsoft distributing their own flavors of Java. That's why you'll find it tough to find a download of the "virtual machine". It used to come bundled with earlier version of Windows, but starting with XP, Microsoft has been barred from distributing it.
Try this link instead.

You are required to believe me, because I passed 2 M$ certification exams his week.
