How to share an internet connection?

Okay, here's the layout.

In the past I used to use a proxy server, specifically DeerField's WinGate in conjunction with dialup. Then with broadband.

Then I upgraded to a router. Then I got a wireless router.

Now i do not have broadband. I am using dial up.

I cannot stand dial up... mainly, it's slow... but I can't just plug in a wireless card and move about!

I want to be able to access a dial up connection on a computer, using DHCP for the computers. I can setup a W2K server, but would prefer not to... and just use W2K pro or XP pro for the computer that shares the dial up account...

I hate static IP's. I use these wireless clients in another enviornment that utilizes DHCP and I would not like to change each day.

I am making sense?

Here's full scenario.

REQUIRED
1. Have computer with dial up internet access.
2. Want to share dial up internet access on network.
-network includes wireless and wired clients
3. Do not want to use static IP addresses
4. Do not want to use proxy server software

OPTIONAL
-No server/client network implentation

windows built in Internet Connection Sharing should work
set it to use the dial up adapter for internet and the computer's network card as the adapter used for sharing
I got it to work with a win98se, a winME and a linux box through a regular 10/100 hub.
odd thing is I never was able to get the windows and linux computers to be able to access each other but the internet sharing worked

Have you gotten it to work with winXP & win98? I tried but could not get it to work.
