What does this Windows error message mean?

I was browsing through a forum, reading a thread, and I clicked "back" on the browser when suddenly a blue screen popped up with this message:

There are no spare stack pages. It may be necessary to increase the setting of 'MinSPs' in System.INI to prevent possible stacks fault. There are currently 5 SPs allocated.

I "hit any key top continue" and went right back to where I had been.

What does this mean?

BTW, I'm running Windows 98 with IE 6.0
