help with sites not refreshing...

i apologize if this isnt the right place to ask this but...

i have an HP pavilion laptop and since this summer i've had a big problem with sites that i frequently go to being updated, i always have to hit refresh. i've tried deleting cookies and clearing history and that worked for a little while. but 2 days ago i deleted about 9,000 or so cokkies and still had to refresh. what's going on???

thanks!

You're in the right place for this question.

If you are using IE there's a setting under Tools->Internet Options->Settings "Check for newer versions of stored pages". Set it to "Every visit to the page".

Give it a try.
