How do you stop automatic downloads in emails?

Everytime I get an email from kbtoys.com, my computer automatically starts to download stuff from them. How can I turn that off. It seems like an easy way for viruses to get in.

One way is to download the e-mail to Outlook or Eudora or other e-mail program. Then shut off the Internet (if you're using ZoneAlarm or other software firewall, disable connection from your e-mail program) and open the e-mail.

But isn't there a way to simply tell my Outlook to never start a download without asking me first? Seems like a sensible security feature to have.

Have you downloaded the security update from M$? It'll probably stop that. Only problem is it won't allow you to open certain files that it deems could cause your system harm, which includes access files

Would disabling HTML in emails do this? Just a guess.
