what type of modem are you using for to surf the web and what is the provider?

cable and comcast. also, while were on comcast, i read about 6 months ago about some scandal that comcast was spying on users for research, so they could see what websites you were looking at, are they still doing this or has this ended.

I get sdsl free from broadview networks. I work for them and it's a perk. And it lets me work after hours from home.

I have cable and Comcast also...

Yeah, they were running Proxy servers and tracking what websites people visited and all that info... But a lot of techies figured out they were doing that, and it leaked out and they were forced to shut them down. I don't believe they're doing that anymore...

thats good to know. i wouldnt want them or anyone to know what websites we are on.
