Anyone heard of this streaming service? I just noticed it on Instagram.

It's loosely based on the old USA Network show that featured cult movies and TV shows from the 70s and 80s.

There are a couple of live channels as well.

Kidding aside, wow, this service would be a dream for all of us during the October Halloween Horror Challenge!

I subscribed yesterday with the promo. There is a 7 day free trial. There are actually old episodes of Night Flight on it.

It’s a pretty decent collection of obscure horror, comedy, science fiction, documentaries and cult content. It’s like old school stuff you would find on your video store shelves for $1.99. Vinegar Syndrome, Severin and Arrow have small collections. The scrolling menus are a little clunky though.

Some really cool stuff on this service.

There was a documentary that I started watching about the History of Category III Hong Kong movies.

Also there was a really cool 1 hour documentary called "American Expendables" about the history of North American Pictures, who played such classics as Tiger Claws 1 thru 3 and TC 2000. And they got into the making of those movies as well

I've been aware of it for a few years now but didn't want to pay due to already paying for too many streamers. I remember Night Flight on TV back in the 80's

It's available on several VOD providers. I don't know about Canada though.

I just want to post to say how much I love this service. It has become one of my favorites due to the wide variety of weird cult films and strange music documentaries and such they have.

I was thinking about also subscribing to Eternal Family, Midnight Pulp or Cultpix but a lot of their stuff overlaps with Night Flight's stuff. Eternal Family does seem to have a lot of weird shorts though that I haven't seen many places.

Anyone here subscribe to any of those three?

They just added the Andy Sidaris collection too! It's the late 80s, 90s Skinemax action movies.

I mean... it's... fine? Yeah, it's just fine.

He’s concerned about aspect ratios, compression quality, proper frame formation etc, etc.

Stuff that most don’t pay attention to.

I figured, but wasn't sure how to address it. Alan, a lot of it has a nostalgic garbage-like veneer, just like it originally did, scratches, debris, video lines and all that. You'll love it.

I've watched so many movies that I've never seen before and finally I'm like, well, let's do it. Angel, Sleepaway Camp, Freeway, etc. Terrible, fun stuff.

1982: Greatest Geek Year Ever (2022) is a great mini-series documentary that's presented all as one 3-hour doc on Night Flight, well worth your time.

I recently renewed under another year promo for $39.99. I know most here are burned out paying for so many streaming services and trying to keep track of what’s good and what is worth watching. But, this service with all its cool cult content is worth it.
