Re: Fox launching their own streaming service
What exactly are they going to put on it? 20th Century studios content goes to Hulu. Actually all their scripted shows goes to Hulu.
News, sports and Gordon Ramsay won’t cut it.
Edit: Even Gordon Ramsay content is on Hulu, unless that changes.

I am guessing that changes. Just like how there used to be CBS shows on HULU before Paramount + and NBC shows before Peacock

I don't get this either...all Murdoch still owns in the News and Sports arms of FOX. Disney owns all the TV shows and movies. So, the app would have to create its own new content or strictly focus on news and sports...and they already have a news paid app. Unless Fox Nation is going to roll into this new service.

Also doesn't Fox Nation already have original scripted (and unscripted) non news content? (the only way I know this is because of the SB ads)

Re: Fox launching their own streaming service
So this service is really about a streaming alternative to FOX’s OTA channel and access to news and sports. Scripted VOD looks like it’s staying on Hulu.
I mean it’s going to have pretty limited mass appeal from the sound of it.

I’d watch crap on my current system for $2000 a month, and save it up to build a good home theater.

Launches tomorrow. Yeah if you don't care about sports or news, this is totally not for you
Fox Corporation is set to revolutionize the streaming landscape with the launch of its new direct-to-consumer streaming service, Fox One, on August 21, 2025. Priced at $19.99 per month or $199.99 annually, Fox One will bring together the company’s extensive portfolio of news, sports, and entertainment content into a single, dynamic platform. The service is designed to cater to cord-cutters and cord-nevers, offering live and on-demand access to Fox’s iconic brands, including FOX News Channel, FOX Business Network, FOX Weather, FOX Sports, FS1, FS2, FOX Deportes, Big Ten Network (B1G), FOX Local Stations, and the FOX Network. Additionally, subscribers can bundle Fox One with FOX Nation and B1G+ for $24.99 per month, providing even more specialized content at a competitive price.
If you have beent hinking about trying Fox One the good news is it will have multi-view, which allows sports fans to watch multiple games simultaneously on a single screen. This feature, tailored for the avid sports enthusiast, will enable viewers to follow live action from NFL games, college football, MLB, and other major sporting events broadcast across FOX Sports, FS1, FS2, FOX Deportes, and the Big Ten Network. I had thought that they had tried to separate Fox News from the rest of their offerings in the past, but maybe that's out the window now?

Re: Fox launching their own streaming service
So 8 months later, has anyone here actually used this streaming service?
I have access through DirecTV, but looking over the content, there really seems to be no point for it. Especially if you already have Hulu. That basically covers all the scripted shows that FOX has. Sure, there is live sports, but if you have something like YouTube TV or like me, DirecTV, you’re probably not going to use this.
So I didn’t even bother activating it. Just feels like streaming service clutter.
