Some streaming services are getting bundled with internet service now. For example, I get HBO Max for free with my AT&T fiber.

I'm not sure it 's strike-related, but it seems like the streaming services have really cut back on their original content, or at least the stuff I'd be interested in watching.

Take Netflix, for example, they have maybe a half a dozen shows I'm interested in, and it seems like they take two years between seasons. And then there's Disney+, which seems like it's just a bunch of underwhelming Star Wars and Marvel content. Paramount+ has cut back on their Star Trek content; we went from having something new almost every week to only three ongoing series.

Spectrum, with their latest TV price increases, is now including ad supported Disney+ with the TV service. They are also beginning to really push their "Xumo" streaming device as a replacement for the cable box. I wonder how much it reports back to Spectrum on everything watched using the device.

And again they are "pushing people to piracy" because people expect content for dirt cheap, regardless of how much money it costs to make or distribute the content. No wonder they are cutting back on expensive original programming. If people don't want ads and people don't want to pay then I'm not sure what the expectation is. As it is now you can still get a ton of content for relatively cheap, on demand, and you don't really need to subscribe to 30 services at a time (who has time to watch all of that?)
