2022 Edition: How many streaming services/devices do you have?

God I have so many. I definitely pay just as much for streaming services as much as I did cable/satellite

Amazon Prime
Paramount Plus
Disney Plus
ESPN Plus
Hulu
(above 3 are the bundle deal)
Netflix
Peacock
HBO Max

Likewise, but most of what I subscribe to are bundled/pre-paid for the year, etc. Combined on a per month averages roughly about the same I used to pay for cable back in the day. At least now the value is justified for the price.

Oh yea, I forgot to mention that I also got a 3 month trial of YouTube Premium and I don't believe I'll be going back to the ad supported version. It's sooo nice not having to click away ads or having the video you're watching interrupted several times for the 5 second ads

Re: 2022 Edition: How many streaming services/devices do you have?

I had the most streaming services the last time we did this type of thread.

Currently:
Hulu
Spotify
Arrow
Paramount +
AMC +
Shudder
Peacock TV
Epix(Roku Channel)]
Disney +
TuneIn
Amazon Prime
ESPN +
UK Entertainment
Canada Entertainment
MLB TV
MiLB TV
TitleMatch.com
Wrestling TV
History Vault
CNN +
HBO Max

Notes:
MLB TV is free with MLB Extra Innings (Direct TV)
All of the above are available on Roku except: MiLB TV and TitleMatch.com
HBO Max free with Spectrum (subscription to HBO channels)

I have 4 Roku devices plus 1 Roku TV.
I have 3 Amazon Fire TVs plus 1 Toshiba TV that has Amazon Fire TV built-in

Youtube Premium is definitely my most useful streaming service. I watch on a Roku, and there's no way to skip the ads. It drives me crazy having to sit through a 45-second commercial to watch a 3 minute video.

HBO Max and Hulu. Will probably drop Hulu when my .99/mo period ends. Never use it. Someday will probably dump HBO too, just before I run scampering into the woods.

Yeah, you guys made me re-consider this. Have always just dealt with the ads and hated the constant reminders to start a free trial. But the more I thought about it, I watch quite a bit of YouTube videos.

Great ~9 minute recaps of every Minnesota game in all the sports, college and pro.
a bit of music most days
video game content
how to videos for home and car maintenance
comic book content
clips from news and talk shows

So I’m doing the 3 month free trial at least. Already loving YouTube music and listening to videos in the background. Sigh, probably another $12 a month bill coming soon…..

Re: 2022 Edition: How many streaming services/devices do you have?

If I had to pay for them, it'd probably be fewer:

Amazon Prime ($139 annual)
Disney+ (free)
Apple TV+ (free)
HBO Max ($7.49/month)
Hulu ($0.99/month)
Paramount+ Premium (free)
Peacock Premium (free)

I think 12 dollars a month is too much for a music service(sure plus no ads but there is an ad blocker for the PC and you can watch it on your TV with an HDMI cable).

Re: 2022 Edition: How many streaming services/devices do you have?

Amazon Prime Video
Netflix
Hulu (w/ ads, included with my Spotify)
Shudder
Peacock (w/ ads, included with my internet service)
HBO Max (currently paying with old HBO Now gift cards that were on sale)
Disney+

Hard to believe that my pre-launch discounted 3 year Disney+ sub will be up in the fall. I might drop it then and sign up for a month here and there to catch up on stuff. They've gotten better at narrowing the gap, but there's still a lot of time in between new Marvel and Star Wars shows, which is pretty much all I watch on there outside of the Simpsons. (And I have the DVDs of the good seasons.)

I'd do the same with Netflix, which I really don't watch all that much nowadays, but other family members depend on me for that. :)

I don’t use a PC.

Re: 2022 Edition: How many streaming services/devices do you have?

Netfiix (Premium Ultra HD)
Prime
hulu (annual w/ ads)
Disney+ (3 year pre-pay)
HBOMax (part of Xfinity bundle)
AppleTV+ (Annual)
Paramount+ (Annual w/ no ads)
Peacock (Premium with Xfinity; pay additional for no ads version)
Showtime (Xfinity bundle)
AMC+ (Annual plan from Black Friday deal)
epix (Xfinity)
Starz (Xfinity bundle)
MLB TV (free with T-Mobile/Sprint)

When my Disney expires this fall I may look into doing the bundle with hulu no ads. My annual hulu expires in August so we'll see. I doubt I'll keep AMC; I just don't use it.

Re: 2022 Edition: How many streaming services/devices do you have?

I voted 7-8 but I actually have 10 that I either pay for or receive complimentary through another service.

We don't have cable but I don't mind paying for services I actually use.

Apple TV+
Amazon Prime
The Criterion Channel
Disney+
HBO Max
Hulu - free with Spotify
Peacock - free with Xfinity internet
Paramount+ - my wife has this free through something or another
Showtime - I don't even know how or why we have this.
Shudder

Re: 2022 Edition: How many streaming services/devices do you have?

Netflix (the most expensive and ironically the one I use the least)
Amazon Prime + Video
Hulu core plan
Youtube TV
Apple TV+
Disney+ (got the three year plan)
HBO Max (free with AT&T internet)
Night Flight (subbed for a year, missed my cancel date)
Paramount+ (subbed for a year deal)
BritBox (through Prime, my wife LOVES 18th-20th British shows with hats)
Showtime (got a deal for six months, I wanted to see Yellowjackets and my wife watches Billions)
AMC+ (apparently I got an annual deal)

Italicized ones are the ones i'll probably let lapse when the prepaid term or deal runs out. I need to pick a service, watch a couple shows on it, then cancel it and move to another.

I think on a monthly basis it's still cheaper than when we had satellite, but we had their highest tier (and multiple boxes, so lots of add on fees).
And not a 'subscription' but I have a ton of stuff I've 'bought' on Vudu

Re: 2022 Edition: How many streaming services/devices do you have?

I continue to lag behind the general population here. I have the ad-supported version of Hulu / Disney+ / ESPN+ through my cell phone service with Verizon. I've tossed a few bucks to someone who has given me YouTubeTV access but may be ready to give that up. With that content and a continued backlog of unwatched media on disc, I've never hurt for anything to watch.

Re: 2022 Edition: How many streaming services/devices do you have?

I also love YouTube Premium. YouTube added more commercial breaks during the Pandemic and 3-4 commercial breaks in a 15 minute video started to drive me crazy. I switched to YouTube Premium and I love it.

Re: 2022 Edition: How many streaming services/devices do you have?

Netflix
Amazon - I don't watch it as much because the interface sucks.
Brtitbox
Peacock - Free through Xfinity. I don't watch it because it has ads.
