Re: What paid streaming services do you currently have year round?

YouTube TV
Philo (replaced Sling Blue as sports are gone for the foreseeable future)
Netflix
Prime Video
Hulu/ESPN+/Disney+ bundle
Apple TV (free year from iPad purchase - I'll probably drop once it's over)

I'll also switch between HBO and Showtime subs periodically to binge things I missed

Re: What paid streaming services do you currently have year round?

Netflix
Amazon Prime
Hulu - no commercials
Disney + (3 years)
CBS All-Access
Apple TV + (free on my wife's acct)

Shudder 30 days free
Starz 1 month (forgot to cancel the $1 /month Amazon deal)

I have giftcards for HBO that I activate every so often to get caught up.

I really should be doing month to month on Netflix. There are certain times of the year I don't hardly watch it.

Ha, they got me too. I can't believe people pay 8.99 a month for that.

They do have a decent amount of original series. Power is one of their most popular, but I don’t know if that appeals to the masses. It’s a dark drama about a drug dealer as the protagonist. And Spartacus is absolutely worth watching if you haven’t seen it. Same goes with Black Sails.

Re: What paid streaming services do you currently have year round?

Spotify w/ Hulu - $10 combined because of some deal.
Netflix - 4K tier. I keep telling myself I'll bump it down, but never do...
Criterion - year 1 renewal is coming up. I won't be canceling.
Disney+ - paid for 1 year. Might cancel after that because my wife and kid still want to buy Disney movies, so what's the damn point. I will likely lose this battle, though.
Amazon - I pay for prime shipping so the streaming stuff is a plus.

I could/should drop a couple of these, to be honest.

Re: What paid streaming services do you currently have year round?

Netflix
Amazon Prime
Hulu (via Spotify Premium, though I was a subscriber before they started bundling it for free)
YouTube TV
Shudder
Disney+ (locked into that good 3 year deal, but otherwise would've likely canceled between the Mandalorian and whenever the first Marvel show starts)

Re: What paid streaming services do you currently have year round?

Update for beginning of 2021:
  • Hulu with live TV and HBO (we use Hulu much more than I thought i would)
  • Netflix
  • Amazon Prime/Video
  • Disney+ (did the three year special)
  • Shudder (I missed my cancel-by date last year and it renewed for a year) Cancelled, watched a few things but not enough
  • CuriousityStream (got a special on a year) - Cancelled, never watched a thing
  • HBO Max (through AT&T)
  • edit to add: PBS Masterpiece (Amazon Channels) My wife is huge into shows with lots of hats and accents set 100-300 years ago.
I actually buy and have bought a lot of stuff on Vudu including TV Series, so I would actually be fine going with Netflix only as needed to watch a season of a show or something.

Non-TV entertainment services:
  • Comixology Unlimited (monthly)
  • Marvel Unlimited (or whatever it's called) (got a year discount sub)
  • SiriusXM (my annual sub was due to end around New Years, I called to cancel and hope they offered me a deal - the IVR offered the same deal I had previously had so I was OK with that.) Obviously not doing a lot of driving, but I listen through my app and Alexas.
  • Pandora (my wife subs)
I haven't watched a disk in months; I have bought stuff on Vudu that I have on disk; and have bought physical disks (maybe about a dozen through 2020), but only when they come with digital codes.

Re: What paid streaming services do you currently have year round?

Netflix
Criterion Channel
PRIME
Hulu
Disney+
Apple TV+
HBO Max
Starz
Showtime
AMC+
CBS All Access
Shudder
Sundance Channel

Seems like a lot but 30% of those are bundled, so it's way cheaper than a la carte pricing.
