Yeah I also noticed the vault section and also the adult movie section was not on the standalone app
I'm sure they will add more/make adjustments in the coming weeks/months as this is still a work in progress. EPIX is still new at the streaming thing.
The 4 live channels is nice though. I actually watched Red Corner yesterday on one of the live channels.

Apparently the older movies are all there. You just have to search for them.
I found Bill and Ted's excellent adventure and bogus journey and many others just doing a search. The ones you see on the menu are only the "featured" titles.

What happens to MGM Movie Channel(at least available on DirecTV) once Epix switches over to MGM +?
Update-Oct 31st will be the last day for MGMHD and will be going off the air.
Does WB own all of the MGM Cartoons (1940's,1950's)?
Who owns Man From U.N.C.L.E. (1960s tv show)?

I noticed MGM Movie channel is gone from Directv
I wish they had kept it or rebranded that channel too instead of losing another movie channel

MGM Movie Channel was discontinued by Amazon on Nov. 1st because of Epix being rebranded.
The package that DirecTV has for 8 channels (including HD Net Movies and Sony Movie Channel) isn't worth the money unless they replace MGM HD.

Disney should have trademarked it.

Bump
This officially re-launched on Sunday as MGM + Nothing really dramatic has changed except the branding.
Price is $5.99 per month
They have a 1 year promo for $49.99
It seems like MGM+ and Paramount + share some content.

I’m using the app on my AppleTV and while some content is marked as 4K and 5.1 I don’t think it’s functional.

I re-signed up for the 1 year $49.99 promo. I had the service on hiatus for several months after a previous promo I had expired.
I did notice they added an MGM section. But, the look of the app is essentially the same. I need to finish up the 1st season of "From" I've had that on hiatus for awhile.

Can you confirm that the MGM+ dedicated app has some programming in 4K?

Re: MGM+ streaming service (formerly EPIX NOW)
Is this really a service that has content to justify a year-round subscription and not just subscribing for a month here and there? I've had it (Epix) on discount trials and didn't find much appealing.

Condor - probably the best show currently on TV
My Life As A Rolling Stone - not the most groundbreaking Stones doc, but a few tidbits I'd never heard before, and footage I'd never seen
Belgravia - as a Downton Abby fan I enjoyed this show
Rogue Heroes - off to a great start, glad it got picked up for another season

From is a pretty good horror series. I’m 5 into the 10 episodes.
War of the Worlds is a European import and is 3 seasons in. And from what I’ve seen it’s pretty well made.
I do want to check out Godfather of Harlem. Apparently it’s good and is now in season 3.
They don’t have a lot of scripted shows. So it’s really more about the movies they do get.

When Amazon bought MGM, everyone thought all the MGM programming would be on Amazon Prime. Instead, they rebrand an existing app to MGM+. They are nickel and diming people. And they are constantly moving their Amazon Prime programming to Freevee so you can watch ads.

Re: MGM+ streaming service (formerly EPIX NOW)
I'm a bit surprised MGM+ didn't launch with a more attractive low-ball yearly offer to attract new subscribers similar to what Starz has done for the past several months.
They DO have some incredible, prestige shows like From, Godfather of Harlem and Rogue Heroes. War of the Worlds is a slow-burn but fascinating new take on the classic story. I also enjoyed Billy the Kid quite a bit as well. All renewed, all getting new seasons. A few really neat documentary series as well. However, if you already have Paramount+, the majority of movies offered are already there.
I'll most likely wait until summer when seasons completed and dive in for a couple months or wait until Black Friday for a deal.
EDIT: Godfather of Harlem S1 and S2 currently on Hulu

When Amazon bought MGM I was hoping that MGM would finally join Movies Anywhere as Amazon is an MA provider. Instead they put more title behind a paywall.
