The "where is it streaming?" Thread

I thought this would be a good idea since I always ask and really don't know where everything is streaming now a days. I know the new movies and stuff are updated in respected threads, but thought this would be all-in-one and not have to ask in individual threads or remember what releases are coming or going...

Whether it is a pay for service (Vudu, FandangoNow, iTunes, etc.) or the all content streaming services like Hulu, Netflix, etc...

I would like to know if the HBO series "Dream On" is streaming anywhere? It's not on HBO Go, which i have, nor Vudu. How could this be?

Also, can you buy digital copy of "Bloodsport" anywhere? Vudu only has rental and Amazon not at all...

thanks.

and all, ask away...

I use Just Watch. The search function is good if you're looking for a certain title.

But where it really shines are the excellent filtering options. They really help if you're looking for something to watch. Like if I subscribe to Netflix & Amazon Prime and I want to watch a Rated-R Comedy from the 1980's that scores over 6.0/10 on IMDB.

This is fantastic! (Now if it would also pick from the results and force me to follow through and actually watch ...)

I use the Roku search engine.

This morning searched Logan and watched it on HBO Go.

Yeah, I use Just Watch about every day. I check the "New" for Hulu, Amazon, & Netflix one at a time.
I had no idea that Ash vs Evil Dead S1 & 2 dropped on Netflix the other day. Don't remember that on any of the Coming to Netflix in Dec lists. I like that you can click on the provider and it will take you to the page on that provider then you can add it right to your watch list.
They also have an App.
That being said, there are times it misses some new stuff, but usually shows up a few days later. And some days I can only scroll back a few days, other times I can go back a whole month, but the search will find it.

And the Roku does a good job too.

http://instantwatcher.com/ is cool if you want to check Amazon or Netflix

Those first couple sites don’t even work for me.

Anyone know if I can stream/Buy stream Across the Tracks with Brad Pitt and Ricky Schroeder?

According to Justwatch, Bloodsport is available to purchase on iTunes in HD for $4.99:
https://www.justwatch.com/us/movie/bloodsport-i
https://itunes.apple.com/us/movie/bl...ign-mpt=uo%3D4

You can also stream Bloodsport on Hulu with a subscription, or watch on TubiTV with ads:
http://tubitv.com/movies/305426/bloodsport

Dream On doesn't come up as available anywhere on CanIStreamIt, and doesn't show up on Justwatch at all.

Across the Tracks doesn't show up as a listing on either site.

Dream On is likely a tricky show to license for streaming, since it includes clips from movies/TV shows in it. Only the first two seasons were released on DVD.

Couldn’t find an HBO Now thread, but why isn’t some of the older series on it?

Like Dream On (would kill to see this again). Will we/could we ever get those?

From literally the post right above yours:

Another factor is that HBO didn't originally license those shows for streaming, just broadcast. Streaming could be another license they'd have to negotiate for older shows. It's how The Larry Sanders show was on Netflix for a while; separate license.

HBO negotiates for streaming rights for their current shows as part of the production deal.
