Tigerstream TV- Does anyone know of it/Is it legit?
First off- Moderators was not sure if this goes in the sreaming category or the Tech- Thinking it's related to streaming so here goes...
I presently have a Roku, Dish, OTA, and misc streaming services I sub too, but came across this device in just doing a search under Streaming devices- Has anyone heard of this or has this? I was just curious if it's real how can they sell it with no fees?- It uses Android and Kodi if that better addresses it's usability- Any thoughts or knowledge on it would be appreciated- thnx![Smilie](/images/smilies/smile.gif)

It looks just like an HTPC already configured with all the software.
It's always better to build your own HTPC, and install your own software, everyone likes Kodi, and it seems they have it there too.
But with an HTPC you can always modify Kodi, install your plugins, channels, etc. Maybe that's possible with this box too, or they try to do most of that work for you.

Thanks for the reply, So this really is nothing more than a "shell" box that stores "open-access" apps and you just select the ones you want to watch, with no charge?- How can they offer something like this and Roku or Amazon can't? (I am new to this, so just trying to understand a 101 on these other type of streaming boxes)

This can't be legal. Seems like it's a box that's digging up pirated streams of various channels.
There's a section on the website that talks about "Unstable channels" which is a red flag for that.
I wouldn't waste my time or money with this. There's plenty of affordable and legal entertainment options out there.

Thanks for the reply, Yes I agree- I am perfectly happy with Roku and the streaming channels I subscribe too, It's just a matter of time before there shut down.
