Thanks. Picked up Donnie Darko. Says it comes with six hours of extras but I can’t find them anywhere

Just now noticed the twitter link Jay posted in the wiki section.

Between that and Dave's frequent updates, hope I don't miss too many good deals. Thanks to both of you!

Spotted an Energizer ad on my Roku menu that gave me a unique $5 code for Fandango Now. Keep an eye out for that.

Are you watching it on a Apple device or are you using the AppleTV app?

iTunes Extras are available through the movie's menu page. Unfortunately, only Apple devices get the movie menu. So if you're watching on a Roku, you can't access the iTunes Extras.

If you're using an iPhone/iPad, you need to watch in Landscape Mode (horizontal). It won't work in Portrait Mode (vertical).

I posted in the CBS All Access thread, but a month free with the code FROSTY. Has to be redeemed by December 26th. Not sure if it’s a mass code or one I got because they wanted me to rejoin.

I tried on an iPad and on my Roku. Maybe I wasn't holding the iPad in the right orientation. That would never occur to me that there were features in one view but not in the other. Will check again when I get back home.

Thanks! As of yesterday morning it was still that price, so I don't know if it's a mistake or Amazon just undercutting everyone else. Either way, I went ahead and got it since I had some "no rush" shipping digital credits to burn. (I'd already recorded it via YouTube TV and it's also on Hulu, but now it's ad-free for me.) Now I just have to set aside 3 hours to watch it.

Slightly bummed it's classified as a TV show, so there's no chance for MA eligibility.

I give up. Where are the extras?

It's the blue link under Sci-Fi & Fantasy and 2001.

When you play the movie on an Apple TV, you'll get a menu similar to a BD/DVD menu. And on that menu there will be an Extras section.

On an iPad/iPhone, when you hit "Play" the movie will just start playing (no menu). In Landscape mode (horizontal), tap the screen to bring up the toolbar (or whatever it's called). On the right of the toolbar is the Extras button.

That is incorrect.

Okay I have a question : Apple is selling the 4 original Batman movies in a bundle for $19.99. The Bundle says HD, but when you click on the individual titles in the bundle, they all show 4K. If I buy the bundle, will I get UHD copies of all four movies in my MA account?

Thanks.

No, It will be HD in MA. Any Apple bundle title with XX.99 will for some reason only transfer in HD to MA.

i have that bundle purchased via Apple.

The Batman Bundle UHD is the same price at Vudu ($19.99). And the movies will transfer to MA as UHD, even if you already own the HD versions. I know it works because I bought it last week.

https://www.vudu.com/content/movies/...lection/575132

iTunes bundles are weird about the UHD transfers. Some work and some don't. I think the general rule is anything that ends in .99 won't upgrade (like DJariya said above).

Thanks Joey!

~80 cents a HD film (after factoring in the usual discounted iTunes gift cards) for stuff I largely didn’t own (except on DVD) was an easy buy.

Fwiw, 9 of the 10 90s films have itunes extras, and the other, The Limey, is in 4K.

On the 80s pack, Ran and Angel Heart have extras; Evil Dead 2 is in 4K, and Dirty Dancing and Rambo have extras and 4K.

And none are MA, guess that .99 thing applies on that too?

Are any of the movies included MA eligible?

Not sure what you're asking? If they are not MA, they won't transfer to any MA providers regardless of price.
You will still get the highest resolution available on iTunes. So if the bundle is listed as HD, but any of the individual movies are 4k, then those will be 4k on iTunes.

The .99 "rule" only applies to 4k MA movies in bundles. If the bundle ends in .99, then you'll only get 4k on iTunes, and they port HD to MA.

If you got the email from FandangoNow (around 12/12) subj: That’s A Wrap! So Long 2019, the 20% off code has to be used today.

No. None are Fox, Sony, Universal, Warner or Disney and therefore none would be MA titles.

I've looked and looked, but don't see anything I really want to rent or buy. Unfortunately bundles are excluded. Discovering online code selling earlier this year has ruined retail prices for me and all the DTV Nic Cage flicks I'm interested in will eventually wind up on Redbox. :)

I don't know whether or not it's tied to my account, but the first person to PM me can have my coupon code.

Welcome and enjoy. I only had one movie of the 20 in both bundles. And I'm still getting use to all these DC movies and deals.

And thanks for info on the extras and which ones are 4K. I heard some might be 4k from blueray.com
I'm almost out of my 20% off $100 iTunes gift card. Next year I'll have to buy more for the family and me.
Guess I'll have to settle for 15% off for my next GC.
