Playing around with fandangonow for the first time. Is there any way to sort movies?

Bought these a couple of weeks ago for the lesser BP winner that I didn't already have (The Artist, Braveheart, English Patient, Kings Speech, Slumdog) and of course Microsoft never gave me the $25 credit. Have been on hold with them for an hour now....

edit... got it refunded. That was a shitload of work.

The Dark Tower is a 99-cent rental at multiple services today.

That's f'ing annoying. I got mine the day after the promo ended.

Still no daily deal for tomorrow on the website.
Hope they don't kill the promotion now that they've joined MA.

Shouldn't...they just mirror ITunes who does the same thing. Sometimes they are slow and playing catchup though.

In for Going Beserk and definitely for Blue Collar!!

I wish FN hadn't quit pushing titles to UV. Then these sales would be better as titles would go to both UV and MA when a title is both instead of just MA.

Ditto on Blue Collar. Still don't like that the Indicator Blu in UK is region locked. Also Snow Falling on Cedars and possibly Walk of Shame which is woefully underrated.

it never gives me a result. always 0. i wanted new Jumanji which i am sure is there, but nothing came up. was super glad to get a Last Jedi code before sold out. but, i do question the legality of such a site...

Why are you so "sure" Jumanji is there? They're not going to keep listing titles they won't get more copies of.

As for legality, technically, the codes that come with a Blu-ray or DVD aren't supposed to be sold, but it's unclear whether studios can make that legally binding given rights of first sale and all that.

These are legit codes taken from legit copies, but they're likely pulled from copies video rental stores buy to rent out. The codes aren't of use to them, and they likely get a few bucks selling them off to sites like this. But that also means you're not likely to see many more copies of code once they sell out, since rental stores don't tend to buy additional copies later on; they're more likely to overbuy at first to make sure they have copies available, then reduce stock later.

Scooped up Equilibrium for $5. I can now retire my Japanese HD-DVD import of that film. Yes, the digital version is in its proper OAR.

I already have most of what I want from that list. The exception being Kull the Conqueror which I already own the German and American blu-ray, just not digital since its not D2D. (I have a strange fascination with the movie) It's so cheesy, it's awesome.

Noticed that they added some new titles; The Doors, Jacob's Ladder (both UV enabled) & The Imitation Game are 3 that jumped out at me.

FYI: the deals through 4/19 are up.


Looks like that's the best quality for all the services. I'm picking it up.

I picked up Amores Perros. I saw 21 Grams, but haven't seen this or Babel yet.
Would have picked up Carol, but I see it's on Netflix.
I want Jacob's Ladder, but think I'll wait for now. I have the DVD still and the remake is coming out.

The first seasons of a bunch of shows is $4.99 on Amazon Instant Video:

iZombie, Longmire, Gotham, Arrow, The Originals, Supergirl, DC Legends of Tomorrow, Queen Sugar, Blindspot, etc.

I picked up iZombie, since I loved Veronica Mars, and I heard it's worth watching if you're a fan of VM. Not really sure if I should pick up any of the others (For the most part, I'm not a superhero fan) - anyone want to recommend any of them?


(Amusingly, at least one was available to rent for $9.99 - double the price of buying.)
