You might want to add (1980) to The Island, so folks won't get confused with the Michael Bey/Ewen McGregor/ScarJo one.

In for Island (20th), Jet Li's Fearless (22nd which I might have on blu, so I'll just do a M2D), Cop Car (23rd which I do have on blu but it is not M2D last time I checked), and Darkman II (28th which I also have on blu but the Shout Factory one).

Edit: Fandango has a $3 code today, works on everything except bundles. I used it to fill in a gap in one of my Defiance seasons (due to UK code not coming over 100% correctly and Vudu service being completely unhelpful).

This may in fact be true as I looked at FandangoNow's Redeem link and it also shows Disney Codes along with Ultraviolet. Could imagine this could be upgraded to allow MA Codes instead of Disney.

I've been redeeming most codes at Vudu just so I can get it into FandangoNow along with Movies Anywhere. There's a couple UV titles where only FandangoNow has 5.1 audio (they aren't available at all on the Movies Anywhere app.)

I was struggling to comprehend why I should care if Fandango Now joins MA. I guess it would allow digital copies of Disney Movies to show up on MA, but since they're never on sale, it's not a big deal to me.

Besides that? I guess maybe CB4 would be viewable in HD?

It would allow some movies that aren't transferable through UV (cause Vudu doesn't have those specific movies in UV, for example) to transfer into the MA system. Plus, having one more retailer in the system is a good thing (more flexibility of where to buy from or where to watch)

Well my point was with UV that you can buy at FandangoNow and get it at MA through UV to VUDU.

But as I pointed out, there are movies that are UV enabled at FandangoNow and not at VUDU and so wouldn't transfer over(there's a thread on it in the Vudu forums). I've even seen a movie that was UV enabled at both but wouldn't transfer over. Also, movies that are available in HD on FN but only in SD in Vudu will transfer to other retailers in SD.

Agree on both counts, especially about CB4 ;). But yeah, it's a logical step forward and even though I'm not a fan of who is running MA, it's necessary to get this ship together and keep it moving along. Now we just need to do something about TV series, so far that's the true travesty of things.

Bump for today. I had set a phone reminder :My Life as a Zucchini is a Best Animated Feature nominee for the upcoming Oscars. Don't know much about it, but rare to get a recent animated film like that for $5, so I picked it up.

And, Lord help me, I'm considering picking up Xanadu just for morbid cultural curiosity. I remember it getting savaged when it came out in 1980 or so. Still, just watch this trailer :
