It's marked as ultraviolet on both FandangoNow and Vudu, so if you've connected both services up to your ultraviolet account, it should.

That said, I've had one movie (House of Frankenstein) fail to port over even though it should, despite repeated attempts of talking to customer service, so there's always a slim chance that it might not work even though it's supposed to.

Gotcha. What was throwing me off was that it was saying if I wanted to link my UV account o Fandango -- as if to say I wanted to watch the film via Fandango instead of through VUDU, which is my preference.

Happened on Megan Leavey for me. I opened a ticket and they finally fixed it, they said they "reconciled your UV rights to your UV purchases made on FandangoNOW". They asked me to log out of FN and vudu, but I didn't have to do that.

When they did that, I got a few extra titles port over that must have changed to UV after I purchased them too because I didn't realize they were missing.

Yep, I bought it about an hour ago, showed up about 45 minutes ago on my VUDU and then it moved over to Movies Anywhere, so all good :)

That movie hasn't ported for me either. I've tried numerous times to contact customer support. But FandangoNow says UV has to fix it, and UV says FandangoNow has to fix it.

I'm having a really weird issue with the extended cut of Exorcist. I bought it on FandangoNow because I had a coupon code and is marked UV.

The thing is, it shows up in my UV locker, it just doesn't port to Vudu. So I contacted Vudu and they told me that they checked with Warner Brothers and they have the correct ID code on the movie so it should match up, so it is FandangoNow who has the wrong code on their end. I was like "But it's in my locker. It just isn't getting to you. If Fandango had the wrong ID code, it would still match up in UV and show up in my locker?" and they said yes.

So Vudu told me that WB had said they would contact FandangoNow to fix it, but I should follow up with FandangoNow. I've sent them 3 emails about it over the course of the last 3 weeks, and never heard anything back. I guess I could try calling them, but at this point I'm not sure I believe it's FandangoNow's issue.

I'd like to connect my library to another site and see if it ports there, but with a bunch of the UV retailers closing lately, I'm not sure if there are any left to try besides these two.

So yeah...I don't always trust FandangoNow anymore when they have the UV tag on a movie.

I have a similar issue with the extended cut of Da Vinci Code. Bought at Fandango...and never showed up at Vudu. I did check on Vudu and there is an "unrated" cut which is the same thing I would think but no check box. I guess I could email them (it's in my UV locker, I guess I could message Vudu), but I have used the Fandango app at various times when Vudu is just acting up or not buffering. But that is truly an one-off, and 99% of the time, it's fine.

EDIT: Oohhhh, I know why...Vudu's Extended cut of DaVinci is not UV. F'ers. So this is Vudu's fault, lol. It does have the MA symbol however which is awfully interesting. Maybe a trip to the Vudu forums is at least in order.

One of my favorite FandangoNow mix-ups is that FN has The Exception (2016) mixed up with The Lovers (2017) so since I have The Exception in my UV locker from a code redeem FandangoNow gives me access to The Lovers in FN (since they mixed it up and think it's The Lovers but not The Exception, which they don't list as UV). This confused me for a long time, just having a mysterious extra movie in FN.

It's been 5-6 hours since I bought Clockers from FandangoNow and it still hasn't transferred over to VUDU. Lesson learned.

You've probably already tried this but just in case, this is what I do when titles don't transfer quickly - close any open apps on my phone then open the fandangonow app on my phone and let it populate in my movies list, then open vudu and it pops in every single time. It may not work for you but it has for me - if you haven't tried it, it's definitely worth a shot. Good luck and hope it shows up!

That's really odd since a bunch of us bought Clockers as well and it had no issues. Your Fandango & Vudu are linked to the same UV account correct? Might be a silly question, but I figure I should ask :).

Not currently. No, but there is a buy 3 get your 4th purchase half off. Clockers made 2 for me (other was Curious George). The promotions ends on the 22nd.

Another thing that seems to work for me is logging into my UV account (myuv.com) immediately after the purchase and checking to make sure its there and then going to VUDU. Since the MA thing (used to be 5 minutes), it usually takes about 15-20 minutes to transfer over.

Yup. I even get the option to disconnect, too. I can also see some films that I redeemed through Fandango Now that are in my VUDU account. The only one that never ported over is Alexander: The Ultimate Cut.

I have not tried that. I don't even have the FandangoNow app installed, I was working on my Mac Mini and MacBook and through the VUDU app on my PS4 and nothing would show up. I'll give it a go.

I been having problems with FandangoNow & Ultraviolet since the introduction of Movies Anywhere for almost a month now!

With Ultraviolet, I was able to see all my purchases in my movie library even when MA was introduced,
but ever since they did maintenance a month ago, everything got screwed up. At first was able to display only 7 movies in my library & with constant redisplaying it slowly built up to 39, but now I can't even display my library; it brings me to the retailer page!

With FandangoNow, UV purchases do not show in Vudu, yet Vudu purchases show in FandangoNow.

I have emailed them with my problems in regards with their site & with FandangoNow. Their answer?
"Missing UltraViolet titles from the UltraViolet library is a known issue".

Will email them Monday if this current situation is not resolved.
