I've seen it too. Like most of Anderson's films they have fun characters but it falls a little short (personal thing, I know a lot of people love his movies). But I was making a comment on the place more than anything else ;)

Anyone With A New York or Los Angeles Library Card Can Now Stream Thousands Of Feature Films, Including The Criterion Collection

In July, LAist announced that you could stream hundreds of movies from the Criterion Collection for free if you had a Los Angeles Public Library card. We immediately reached out to the New York Public Library inquiring about our own hidden benefits as library card holders, and at the time they did not offer access to Kanopy's streaming service, which the LAPL uses. But lo and behold, they have now decided to add it (you're welcome?)—starting Friday August 4th, anyone with a library card (both NYPL and Brooklyn Public Library) will have access to hundreds of movies.

Thanks for Sharknado. The 100 points might be more valuable than the movie, lol.

BTW, The Take (Bastille Day to some) is an extremely fun movie. I enjoyed it a lot. Has anybody seen Gunman? I'm on an Elba kick lately.

Just an FYI - don't try to rent Sharknado for free and then try to buy it for free (in the hopes of getting 150 points) - as soon as you rent it, you can't buy it, as I found out. (I assume the same is true of trying to buy it at a lower quality, and then buy it at a higher quality).

Someone over at the Blu-ray.com Forum says that The Take doesn't port over to Vudu. I haven't tried it, so I don't know.

Actually I think you are right because I have The Take on Vudu and it doesn't show I own it on Fandango. So vice versa also applies.

BTW watching Sharknado for a few minutes here thru UHD streaming on my LG. It's actually pretty good sound/picture wise, too bad the movie is still shite.

I got an email about Sharknado and it took me to the website where it only let me get the regular HD version- then I saw it was available in UHD but it isn't showing on my TV's app. I emailed support so hopefully they'll upgrade it.

Vudu has the preorder for Guardians 2 UHD for $24.99. The UHD has it in Dolby Vision, something the UHD disc will not have.

Well in an hour from now. Says the countdown thing on my Vudu. I went ahead and preordered the UHD and it says I can watch in 51 minutes. So midnight EST.

That is Room, the 2015 Oscar winner with Brie Larson. The Room is a VERY different movie.
