Re: The kinda all streaming deals thread

Also if you're in the market for the Sonic movies, the 3 movie collection is 12.99 on itunes so a little cheaper than the 4.99 deal

Re: The kinda all streaming deals thread

There are lots of tv series on sale at Fanflix, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home. Too many to list. I picked up Halt and Catch Fire The Complete Series and Sandition The Complete Series for $16.99 each at Apple. I also picked up Casual The Complete Series for $7.99.

Here's a link to one of the Fanflix TV Series sales: https://fanflix.co/c/1li6c371tmvpr-f...medium=website

One Tree Hill The Complete Series is $14.99 today only at Fanflix, Apple TV and Fandango at Home: https://fanflix.co/c/1li3rf72skhl9-f...medium=website

Re: The kinda all streaming deals thread

One Tree Hill for 15 is the deal of the day at Fanflix so I assume the similar itunes deal will end at midnight too.

Been eyeing Halt and Catch Fire, but I feel like it will go lower.

I pulled the trigger on Friday Night Lights for 19.99 because it'll probably be yanked from streaming just when I finally get around to watching it.

$17.99 is the all time lowest price so far. The lowest it's been before this sale was $24.99

Re: The kinda all streaming deals thread

I have every season of One Tree Hill on DVD. I watched the first 4 seasons on DVD (this was before streaming) and binged the hell out of it. Then I watched 5-9 live week to week on The CW.

I recall there were some people here who absolutely hated how it ended.

I mean $15 for 9 seasons is a really good deal, but unless you have the time or are really clamoring for early 2000s YA drams, it's a pretty huge time commitment. It gets very soapy when they finally graduate....cough
Nanny Carrie. I wouldn't get all FOMO on this if you simply don't have time.

Re: The kinda all streaming deals thread

You're saying you actually watch this stuff instead of just collect it because it's cheap? What forum am I on?

On the bright side at least this doesn't take up physical shelf space I guess.

Re: The kinda all streaming deals thread

I got Burden of Truth, the Fanflix DOTD, it's a Canadian law drama that stars Kristin Kreuk from Smallville. It was only $9 after the cheers10 promo code. Regular price was $20 for the 4 seasons. I only watched the 1st season when it aired on The CW and it kind of fell off my radar. It's on Hulu, but I don't know if I will get back into it in time before they pull out at some point.

Re: The kinda all streaming deals thread

Fanflix DOTD is Everybody Loves Raymond, 19.99. Itunes and others aren't matching but if they did it would be a new low.

Re: The kinda all streaming deals thread

If you buy a $100 Apple gift card at Amazon, you get a $15 promotional credit to use at Amazon. That's about the best deal you can get on Apple gift cards. They sent the $15 credit less than 30 minutes after I bought the card.

Also, The Long Walk 4K is $9.99 at Apple TV, and Fandango at Home. I used part of my Apple gift card to buy it.

Fandango Gift Cards are 20% off at their site. That would be a better deal for The Long Walk.

I actually prefer Apple for Non MA titles like The Long Walk. I already bought two Fandango gift cards from Kroger when they had $50 gift cards for $40 since I also get fuel points when I buy gift cards.

The Kroger sale is still going if anyone shops at Kroger and wants fuel points too. The fuel points are also available to be used at Shell stations (at least where I live in Tennessee): https://giftcards.kroger.com/deal/vudu-egift-59

Kroger points work at Shell stations for me, and I still fill up my one gas car once every month or two.

That's a pretty cool offer. Wish it was 5 for $5 though. Will have to think on which films to get...

Re: The kinda all streaming deals thread

There were a lot I didn't own, but the question was which ones I wanted lol. But for a dollar each, I got a number of good ones, including a few I'd been meaning to get.

Strangers on a Train
Blow-Up
Arsenic and Old Lace
The Thing from Another World
Robin and the Seven Hoods
Ocean's 11
Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf
Papillon
Blood Alley
The Great Ziegfeld

Re: The kinda all streaming deals thread

I'm a dummy, I accidentally bought Virginia Wolf and I already owned it. I sent Fanflix an email asking if I could possibly swap it. It's against their policy, but maybe they might make an exception for me since I buy a lot of movies from them.

I bought:
A Night at the Opera
A Day at the Races
Black Legion
The Fearless Vampire Killers
Freaks
The Incredible Mr. Limpet
West World
Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf
Murder She Said....
Angels in the Outfield
