This is the first time I've been charged tax for my digital purchases (my state doesn't charge tax on streaming services or digital purchases). Still worked out to be comparable to 20% off.

Gruv switched to Shopify recently and I've seen other people complain about that. My state charges nearly 9.75% on digital purchases.

Likely last time I purchase digital from them. Unless the sale is ridiculous good.

Some people have had success emailing customer service and getting a refund on the tax charged.

I went ahead and got Mission Impossible the Final Reckoning for the $19.99 minus the extra 10% discount from the Fanflix email.

I see there is indeed a lot of bonus content, so that will be worth it. The 4K disc is probably going to be $25+ for well over a year. I mean Dead Reckoning still hasn't dropped below $15 and that's been on disc almost 2 years now (I have that on digital)
