Checking through the latest offerings from Fanflix, I'm just baffled how Little Darlings could get a new UHD upgrade while The Searchers, Bonnie & Clyde and The Dirty Dozen are still HD.

The Searchers recently came out on UHD disc so maybe that’ll be available on digital soon.

I might’ve bit on Turn for $9.99, but $25 was a steep entry point when there’s so much TV available on streaming.

I look at how much entertainment value I'm getting for what I am spending.

Last week: The Blacklist, 10 seasons and 218 episodes. $19.99, that IMO is a good deal.

Turn: Washington's Spies. 4 seasons and 40 episodes. $24.99. Not a good deal.

I watched the 1st season of Power. It ran 6 seasons on Starz and spawned like 3 or 4 spin-offs.

It's basically an urban gangster drama. The lead character is a notorious drug dealer. I thought the 1st season was good, but just never got around to the rest.

Cool. I grabbed Get On Up, which I've wanted for a while, Spinning Gold, which is about the dad of a friend of mine and got Phantom and Prince of Egypt filmed stage musicals, which I always enjoy.
Thought about The Wiz because of Michael Jackson, but decided against it because I remember it not being very good.

Party of Five was never mastered in HD. It ended 25 years ago when Hi-Def TVs weren't prevalent yet. It's still in 4:3 Pan and scan even on the DVD set.

Probably not priority for Sony. Although Mill Creek did put out Dawson’s Creek on BD. Maybe Party of Five DVD sales weren’t great?
