Caved and bought Chappie this weekend for $4.99. The price of a rental but don't have to watch it within 30 days, and if I end up liking it I'll buy the UHD disc. Also traded my "Straight Outta Compton" disc UV code for "The Night Before"- I always trade disc codes for other movies whenever I can.

I bought a couple MGM movies in the monthly $6.99 HDX sale.

I also picked up The Towering Inferno. Unfortunately, it has the incorrect aspect ratio at Vudu (1.85:1 instead of 2.35:1). I knew that before I bought it. I was hoping one of the other UV sites had the proper video. But it's also screwed up at FandangoNow and CinemaNow doesn't carry it. Hopefully they'll fix it in the future.

Though I fell asleep watching Notting Hill (and saw it only because I worked there and it was free) I have it on 3 different formats- laserdisc (one of the last titles out in the US), D-VHS and HD-DVD!

I started watching "The People vs. OJ Simpson" on demand and enjoyed it so much I just bought the whole series on Amazon Digital. I probably should have waited for the Blu-ray, but I enjoyed it so much, I wanted to share it with family and friends (who piggyback my subscription).
