I would uninstall AIR and Vudu2Go completely, then install both of the older programs again.

Agreed, I'm also tempted to go through the registry prior to reinstalling as well. But first go, we'll rock and roll with the old versions after uninstalling. *fingers crossed....wish I had my laptop with me now, do this at lunchtime*

Nope :(. I ripped it all out of there, Adobe Air, VUDUtoGo, etc. Installation, random files on the disk drive, registry....every little scrap I could find. Reinstalled with the old versions of Air & VUDU. Still same issue with the blank screen/in ability to login, etc. My next step is to go find my wife's old hard drive and boot off of that (it had a working copy of VUDUtoGo) and try that.

Oh by the way, anybody who thinks of giving CinemaNow's D2D service a try...don't waste your time. It's DVD only. Seriously, it will detect your discs just fine (I did The Warriors and Videodrome), but it will say can't do D2D for Blu-ray. What frustrates me is that it already seems to work better than Vudu's service (it detects super easy), but doesn't look like it's been updated in eons(Blu-ray support).

The only reason to use CinemaNow's D2D software is that sometimes it'll accept a disc that Vudu doesn't. You'll have to pay full price ($5 for HD). I've used it a few times for movies I really wanted.

Regarding the blank screen on V2Go - can you click on or see any of the other tabs? I did another conversion tonight and noticed that it was blank for a while until I clicked around a bunch, and then it worked.

Finally got D2D to work...on my wife's puter (not my own laptop). It went in fresh and worked fine. I really think if I could somehow do it fresh (I have to be missing some file/config) on my old laptop it would work too. It just smells like something is jammed up. More than likely, I'll just wait for my next credit from T-Mobile and then do the 40-50 titles (instead of small batches) I got left (with my wife's puter) and then call it a day until they really fix it or I have more time to get it right on my own end. Too frustrating :/

ok. so i got the program to work using this file. but, the Adobe Air seems to be fucking it up. i installed the older version that was mentioned posts above and get this:

I did my last 50 last night. In case they do price hike like the graphic indicates, I want to be set with no regrets so to speak. It cleaned out my want list anyway...and it only came down to the end where I had to decide between a couple of titles (since 50 is the max).

thanks Kedrix. i did finally get the actual VudutoGo program to open and no Adobe Air error message, but i go to the disc to digital tab and it asks me to log in. i do so and it seems that it doesn't take. i don't get an error message, but still a blank page and every time i hit another tab and then go back it asks me again to log in. i guess i've tried it all. came close, but i guess my system is just not compatible any longer. too bad...

Hrmm, I had the same exact issue on my old personal laptop. The only reason I did 50 last night was on my wife's new laptop...and that was basically to be done with it once and for all. But anyway, I honestly do not think it has to do with your machine...I think it has to do with some kind of install fragment sticking around if you uninstall/reinstall/upgrade/etc.

I will get some more time eventually, but I honestly think it lies somewhere in the registry. Though I would not recommend messing with the registry unless you feel extremely comfortable (which I usually do). A moment of truth, my old personal laptop is actually my wife's computer that I basically was given when I bought my wife a new laptop. I upgraded the crap out of it but I can also flash it at any point..so if I go in there and screw up the registry, I could care less..flash, reload windows or reload the original image....try it again. The last thing I would want is for anybody to go in their registry and screw it up because I suggested that was the thing to do. :)

In the free2d window, do you do option H, and sign in there first? Not sure if would matter.

I have Adobe Air 18.0.0.144 and it always asks me to update.

Finally finished scanning all the open Blu-rays in my collection, that were not already in my Vudu account. The lists above are those blu-ray movies that were recognized by the D2D program on my Desktop/Blu-ray Burner.

Ok must be mistake on my part. That was the label on the Blu-ray. It's 124 minutes in length. As I also posted the other blu-ray scan as Kill
Bill vol 1. Good thing you caught that. This is why I created this lists so others could see what worked for me.

I guess I should of also made a lists of Blu-rays that could not be recognized by the D2D app.
