I've wondered how and why Sony puts up random free movies like this, and how people find out about them? I've gotten most of them so far, weirdest was when they had Sex Tape for free before its release date, that must not have helped its sales too much.

Sex Tape was probably unintentional. Much like Amazon putting Turbo Kid as a free rental before it was officially released.

Hmm, I guess my account got deleted. I searched my emails and found this that I ignored from a couple months ago... "For your security, the Sony Pictures Store will deactivate and remove accounts which have not had any activity in the past year. "

Seems a bit excessive considering I had many uv movies there.

Looks like the same thing happened to me.

You should still have the UV's of whatever movies you redeemed. Just because your Sony account is deactivated, you don't lose the UV access.

Yeah, I still have them in Vudu. But it just seems strange to delete my account completely.
