All things WWE Network here.

Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
From wrestlezone.com:
PWInsider.com is reporting that WWE Network issues are still continuing as of this morning. The on-demand content seems to be having issues loading the video box. The live stream has been playing since the launch and have not faced any issue at all. As for the on-demand content, there are major loading issues, to the point that some content is not even playing at all. I can also confirm myself that the Playstation 4 Login box has been an issue when trying to log onto the network. WWE is still continue to work on the overload of users that signed up. MLBAM, who has worked directly with WWE during the launch of WWE Network, told Deadspin that they have not seen anything like this, such high demand of one specific Network, in their 14 years of doing e-commerce. |
Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
No wonder there are few old school options . Would rather have it working properly first.

Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
why isn't like this year royal rumble up? is there PPV rule like Raw/Smackdown? can't post them for 30 days
|
Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
I thought when they initially announced the network that Raw and SD would be available right after they aired, but now in the FAQ I saw where it says they'll be available 30 days later. Was it always this way and i was just initially wrong?
|
Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
I think it was always that way, simply because of their contracts with NBCU.
|
Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
All TV contracts are currently being shopped around as they expire soon. I'm sure WWE will want a clause about the rights for immediate posting; but if I'm a network, I want some exclusivity.
|
Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
They replay both Raw & Smackdown on the weekend. So I'm guessing the networks will want at least a 1-week hold.
|
Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
Anyone who signed up for the free trial should check your credit card because it looks like they are putting through charges the day you sign up, even though it says they won't charge your card until one week later. I had 2 charges on my account from yesterday ($1.00, -$1.00, and $9.99). I called the customer service number, it sounds like they outsourced the calls to India, and the woman said the $9.99 charge would drop off in a week and then they would put through the $9.99 charge for the first month. She said the first charges were just to make sure the credit card was valid and would go through. I wasn't happy about it but the combination of her being hard to understand and the quality of the connection made me not want to argue with her. It also sounded like she kept reading from a script no matter what I asked her.
Still can only get 1 or 2 shows to work on my Roku 2 devices, besides the live stream which works great, and nothing on my desktop PC running XP. My other 2 PCs running Windows 7 & 8 play everything I've checked so far. |
Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
The only replays we get of Raw & Smackdown are on the Spanish station on Saturday night and Sunday morning.
|
Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
Gas stations often put in temp charges too, as placeholders until the amount is validated. Sounds like WWE is doing the same.

Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
The latest:
"We are currently experiencing technical issues with @WWENetwork's video-on-demand library affecting 20 percent of viewers. Working with MLBAM, we expect to have this issue fully resolved by 6 p.m. tonight." |
Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
Everything is working on my Roku 2 devices now. Still can't get anything except the live stream on my PC with XP.
|
Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
My mistake-it was here that it was mentioned about the CC charge.

Definitely canceling before the trial ends. I haven't been able to watch anything on my PS3 or 4! Can't make it more than 3 minutes before the buffering kicks in then it freezes up and eventually boots me back to the app home screen.
Also still can't login on my xbox 360. |

Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
I just called the support line, and got a guy in Ohio, so not all of their support is overseas.
He was walking me through some tests, and when I started up a PPV, I said "It's on the Benoit warning screen now," and he laughed. |
Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
Watching last years WrestleMania and continue too have freeze-ups.
|
Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
I haven't been able to watch anything except the live stream since it launched. I just wish the live stream wasn't full of repeats.

Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
Had zero problems so far with the live feed. Only watched some of the archive stuff.
|
Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
I'm really considering cancelling before the "trial is up". I can watch on my iPhone but can't log in on my 360 and video won't play on my laptop. I think they may need to extend this trial period because locking people in for 6 months on a product that may or may not work doesn't seem like a good business practice to me.
|
Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
It really must only be 20% of customers, because I have not had a single issue since about 11AM yesterday.
|
Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
Have you watched a lot of the on-demand stuff?

Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
Decided to try the search again with my ipad. Vader time! First thing that came up was a strap match vs hogan in wcw. Could be amusing so I went with it and it started playing right away! Only to stop completely after 90 seconds.
I'm sure they will get it running smoothly but I'm still having a lot of problems. Can't get any video to play on my computer. Oh well, once it works it's going to be awesome. The search feature looks so cool. Page after page of matches with anyone you want. Looked at terry gordy, rick rude, ric flair, terry funk. This will rule. |
Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
Now I am getting a message that the network is down.

Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
Tajiri vs super crazy search is great! until a nonstop buffer at 9 minutes during their first match.
|
Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
I can load almost any event I try, but once I try to skip ahead/fast forward, the events all freeze up.
Live channel still working flawlessly. I highly recommend everyone watch Cesaro/Zayn from NXT. Wow. |
Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
Videos are now working on my Desktop PC and our Kindle WWE app finally got updated so everything seems to be working now.
Starting with the Wrestling Classic from 1985, one of the very first wrestling VHS tapes I ever got back in 1985/1986, and planning on working my way through every PPV up to 2014. I already have every WWF/WWE, NWA/WCW, and ECW PPV on DVD but it just more convenient to stream them then to put a disc in for every PPV. If you haven't seen the Wrestling Classic it's very good, especially the Dynamite Kid vs. Randy Savage match. |

Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
is the roku still having issues?
i was trying to watch beyond the ring last night and it was reloading every time... sucks.. |
Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
Any rumors of other sports or entertainment groups that are thinking of starting up something like the WWE Network?
I would love to see the NFL make their NFL Film Library available. I went to the NFL Films website and doesn't look like it's active. The NFL Network is 100 percent useless. |
Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
This was working for a bit earlier but it's back to being unusable again. Frustrating because when it works, its great.
