n00b question, but is NXT a weekly show on the network now?
I was really impressed with Arrival last week and want to watch more. If you have Hulu and not WWE Network, the weekly episodes will be first shown on Fridays. However Hulu screwed up this week and their viewers were able to watch tonights episode early like this morning. They also had those three-four minute clips of matches/interviews up early as well - I think on Wednesday night, they started to show up. (Edit: Even though I have Hulu - I decided to be a good boy and wait until it premiered on the WWE Network at 9:00 pm ET to watch this weeks episode. Probably do that every week - watch it on the WWE Network - although most cases it won't be the premiere showing as I'll be busy doing other stuff at the time.) Note: If you just have Hulu and want to watch the Arrival show from last week - its located in the clip area and not the episode area. For some reason they go from the NXT preview episode to this weeks episode there - skipping the Arrival episode. Its the complete episode and not the edited version that the WWE Network aired on Tuesday night which just showed the Ceasro-Zayn/Dallas-Neville matches. Some people thought WWE would send Hulu the edited version. |

Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
I watched some old WCW PPVs last night and I have to say that while the product from 91 to earl 96 was mostly dumb, it was never not entertaining. Uncensored '96, which I think might have been Hogan's last WCW PPV as a face before the NWO, was so outlandish I couldn't help but find it fun.

Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
Looks like they are in no hurry to add programming to the Vault.

Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
Is anyone else having issues with the Road to Wrestlemania specials on the Roku? The first one crashed (booted out of the app) whenever I'd select "play from beginning". This kept up until the second one was added. Then I could finally watch the first one without any issues. I figured they finally fixed things, but when I went to watch the second one last night, crash and burn exactly like the first one used to. I've only watched a couple other things, but so far nothing else has booted me out like that.

Do you mean the Wrestlemania Rewind show? I had the same problem on my Roku. Episode 2 crashes the app (episode 1 works fine).
The show works fine on my AppleTV. Such a great service...I hope they are able to work all of the bugs out soon and Wrestlemania goes off without a hitch! |
Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
I just got home from work and it looks like the network is down again. On my Iphone it says i'm not authorized to view content, my Roku devices say the stream is not available, and nothing is working on my PC? Can anyone get the stream or on demand shows to work?
|
Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
Looks like it is down for me,also. Worked fine this morning.
Hopefully they are stock piling the Vault. Update: It's working again. |

Watching the New Blood Rising PPV from 2000. This is so bad it's funny.

I'm loving the old Legends Of Wrestling roundtable discussion show. I hope they do some new episodes.

I was watching the NWO Beyond the Ring episode this morning and I had to leave so I stopped the video with about 20 minutes left. Turned off the PS4 and when I just got home to play it, it picked up right where
i left off. Not sure if its added for all videos or if this is just a one off. |

WWE Network offers free week for those who canceled.
Written by Dave Meltzer - WrestlingObserver.com - The WWE sent out an e-mail today to people who canceled the network, offering them a second free week if you order by Saturday. An e-mail featured a photo of the Bella Twins and listed that a network subscription gets you WrestleMania and 1,700 hours of content. |

Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
Maybe they will increase programming because the free preview is ending.

Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
More live programming coming to the Network. From PWI:
During the latest edition of the Michael Cole and JBL podcast on iTunes, it was announced that: *WWE would broadcast a live "Wrestlemania Today" show on The WWE Network from AXXESS on Thursday, Friday and Saturday (4/3 - 4/5). *WWE would host a live "Legends of Wrestling" panel discussion on Friday 4/4, also from AXXESS. Of course that weekend is already jam packed with the Hall Of Fame on Saturday night and the nearly all day coverage of Mania on Sunday. |
Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
Cole and JBL have a podcast?
|
Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
JBL is beyond boring. When was the last time he said something informative?

Plan on watching the available PPVs in chronological order as I didn't start watching until the end of 1998. Some stuff I've seen already (Wrestlemania DVDs/Best Of's/Specific wrestler DVDs mainly) but not so much the other stuff. Especially WCW/ECW.
Halfway through Starrcade 83 now. Due to the Flair DVD, I've seen the main event but the rest of the card has been pretty entertaining. Orton/Slater vs. Youngblood/McDaniel was very entertaining I thought. I've just been Wikiing the history to the matches so I have an idea of the feuds. Hopefully by the time I get to mid-late WCW/WWE/ECW, a good chunk of their weekly shows will be on there. I know there's probably some clunker PPVs on the horizon but should be interesting to see the progression of the business in regards to production/wrestlers/wrestling style etc. Been watching on Ipad/phone but apparently the 360 issue is finally fixed so it should be nice to watch it on a TV now. Really digging the old school stuff. I have the Manias on DVD up through 14, but it's been a while since I've seen them. Really looking forward to the Summerslams, Rumbles, Survivor Series I haven't seen and a lot of the In Your House stuff, and most everything with the NWA/WCW stuff on the horizon. Good and bad! Also, I know these Legends of Wrestling on the Network are a few years old but they're new to me and they're great. Hope they make new ones soon. |

Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
Finally signed up this weekend. After a few issues (performance was horrible in Chrome so I had to switch to IE and it worked fine... that's a statement I never thought I'd be making) I'm enjoying it. What I would love is to have wrestler playlists... so I could pick, say, Steve Austin and it would just play through all his PPV matches chronolically across organizations.
|
Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
I too finally signed up this weekend. No issues so far on my Roku. Really looking forward to the Wrestlemania weekend events, especially the Hall of Fame ceremony.

Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
Tonight at 7 they are re-airing the WM 30 press conference from this morning for anyone who missed it.

I am still new to the network, where are you seeing a schedule? |
Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
The press conference is also on demand in the WrestleMania PPV section.
|
Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
All the devices the Network is on have a Schedule section but without knowing how you are viewing it it's hard to direct you where to look. On my PC & my Roku it's on the first page but on my Kindle & Iphone you have to go into the Network section to find it and it's the top option.
Thursday & Friday night from 6 to 8 the Network will be airing live footage from WWE Axxess. Also on Friday night at 10PM they will are a special Legends of Wrestling roundtable with different Wrestlemania legends discussing their greatest Mania moments. |

When you bring up the WWE Network screen - click on schedule located on the top of the page. It then goes to another page which has the current schedule where you can scroll down the schedule to see what programs are coming up by click on the down arrow button located on the bottom of the page. You can also click on the next days schedule or jump to a date by clicking on the "jump to date" calendar located on the top of that page. Note: The schedule only goes like five days in advance. Websites like ProWrestling.net, PWTorch.com and PWInsider.com also post each days schedule on their sites. Speaking of schedules - looks like no Wrestlemania Post-Game Show - they are showing a sneak peek of the newest WWE Countdown - Infamous Gimmicks - from 11:00 pm ET to 12:00 am ET. (Thought I read they will be having post-game shows after each "PPV". Guess not. Weird having a two hour pre-game show and then not have at least a half-hour post-game show.) New Special - Journey To Wrestlemania - Follow a WWE Superstar behind the scenes on his journey to Wrestlemania. Premieres - Tuesday, April 8 - 9:00 pm ET to 9:30 pm ET. Wonder what wrestler they will be following? Does this special replace Wrestlemania Rewind that week? - they didn't promote one for next week after the Triple H vs Jericho WM18 one aired last night. Or maybe Wrestlemania Rewind is on from 9:30 pm ET to 10:30 pm ET and then we get a repeat of Journey To Wrestlemania from 10:30 pm to 11:00 pm ET? Schedule on the WWE Network site doesn't list whats on for that day yet - should be made available sometime on Thursday. Got the above info from a "Wrestlemania Week Programs on WWE Network" article. |
Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
Looks like they just added 8 ECW Hardcore TV shows to their Vault section. Need to find time too watch them.
I wish they had a checklist/and or wishlist feature so I could see what I've watched and stuff that I want too watch. |
Re: The Official WWE Network Thread
I just want it to resume playing something when I have to stop midway through.
