Stupid question but an internet search unveils a lot of nonsense and double talk. I'm basically wondering how to watch a UV copy of a movie using my Roku (or PS4 / X1)? Do you use Vudu and link your UV account to it?

That's basically all you need to do. Sign up at Vudu and link your UV account. Then add the Vudu Channel on your Roku and sign-in. All your UV movies will appear in the "My Vudu" section.

When you sign-up for a new account at Vudu, make sure to take advantage of the 5 Free HDX Movies. There's a link on the front page:

You can also watch with Flixster.

Flixster, Target Ticket and M-Go are all UV-compatible. But none of them compare to Vudu. They all have very limited catalogs, so many of your UV titles won't be available. And the video/audio quality isn't as good. Target Ticket is 720p with 2.0 audio. I think Flixster is only SD.
