The Jurassic Park codes came from a used BD set brought from GH. They were in the case when I opened them.
Two of the 3 Jurrassic Park (2nd & 3rd Movie) codes still work for iTunes.

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

Looks like it was an instawatch glitch for The Hateful Eight, because it now is disabled and says "available on march 15."

FYI

I'm still keeping my pre-order in place, because I'll be getting that extra Digital HD copy in the BD package. I'm glad I was able to watch it though.

Just checked and mine is also disabled. Good thing I watched it a couple days ago.

I stopped going to HD talk after Streaming Talk started to gain a little traction. Whoops.

It's all good. Don't bother getting it now, though. the glitch has been fixed.

What streaming service do you redeem first at?
I know they say you can link most of these streaming sites together & I have. But there are way more movies in my UV account then there are in my Vudu, Flixster & Cinema Now accounts.

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

I think there's rights issues with some of the streaming services. I used to redeem everything on Flixster (I stopped that now and use Vudu for the most part), and everything would show up there, but not Vudu. Strikeback comes to mind. Season 1 is still available to stream on Flixster, but not Vudu. I hate the layout of CinemaNow, so I haven't really used it.

Apparently there were some issues with Strikeback Season 1 from what I can tell.

Vudu has the best layout, quality, etc; so I'm happy to stick with them, hope Walmart doesn't sink em anytime soon.

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

I tried to enter the Rambo 1-3 Blu-ray Box Set from May 2008 into Vudu using the disc to digital program on my PC. Only Rambo 1 was open, the other 2 movies were brand new & sealed.

It accepted Rambo 1 but not Rambo III. Rambo II can't be recognized in the external blu-ray drive. It just spins & spins. I then tried it in the stand alone blu-ray player & same problem. Guess I got a bad disc.

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

I have a code Walk Among the Tombstones and it comes up as an invalid code and Alexander: The Ultimate Cut has a code but it's not on their menu.

thanks.
Also, you will only be able to share Ultraviolet movies. They wont be able to watch any of your Disney or other non-ultraviolet movies that you may have bought directly from Vudu.

wait, what? they can't see movies i bought directly from Vudu or my Disney Anywhere movies that link to my account? why is that? why would it make a difference where i got it from, as long as it's in my Vudu collection library?

Because you can share your UV library, not your VUDU library. Disney movies are not UV, and VUDU has movies in its library available for purchase which are also not UV (if you purchased directly from VUDU and UV is available for that title, you should still be able to share).

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

When they accidentally LET you, but now they've taken it back. Just further shows who's REALLY in control.

Also have to laugh that this happened with a movie whose director was so insistent on its being shown on FILM, and 70mm at that.

View your UV library at www.myuv.com. Those are the ones you can share.
