The Wolf Of Wall Street is the $0.99 Rental Of The Day (HDX).

http://images2.vudu.com/poster2/488007-m

Once the rental is purchased, you have up to 30 days to start watching.
Once the movie is started, you can watch as many times as you want for 24-hours.

How in the motherfrakking cuss does this work? I signed up for Ultraviolet and started putting in some codes. Now I want to link it to Vudu or Flixter (preferably Vudu) on my Roku player but I need a whole other log in? What am I doing wrong here?

thanks

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

Ultraviolet, Vudu and Flixster are all different sites that each require their own account. You'll need to go to each site and register. Here's the basic steps.

Step 1 - Go to Vudu.com and sign-up for an account. You should also qualify for 5 Free Movies when creating a new account.

Step 2 - During the Vudu sign-up process, you'll be asked to connect Vudu to your Ultraviolet account. If you don't already have an Ultraviolet account, it will create one for you.

Step 3 - Now that you have a Vudu account, and it's connected to your Ultraviolet account, you should see all your Ultraviolet movies in the My Vudu section.

Step 4 - On the Roku, load the Vudu channel and connect the device to your Vudu account. That's it.

Thanks, I think I was trying to go the other way around.

Was just annoyed that I had to create multiple accounts.

are ROTD titles listed somewhere on that site, or is there a mailing list?

On the Movies & TV page it's on the top bar with other sale items. There's also a link on the Collections page.

They also post it on Twitter @vudufans

How the hell do you get the share your vudu movies with 5 friends to work? I have invited a friend and he followed all of the steps that it says but something is not clear about how you access the movies that your friend, in this case me, has invited you to be able to watch.

According to The "Incorrect Aspect Ratio" Thread at the Vudu Forum, Deep Impact has finally been fixed.

1 more down, only a hundred to go. ;)

It wouldn't bother me as much if CinemaNow didn't have the correct aspect ratio for almost every title on the list. I just can't see how it would benefit the studio to not give Vudu the same thing they gave another company, so I can only assume Vudu just doesn't really care, which is why so dfw have been corrected over so much time.

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

It still varies- most of the 2.35 Fox movies I've gotten through UltraViolet codes are the right format on Vudu, but cropped to 16x9 on CinemaNow. The interface on that is so crappy I have no reason to use that anyways, maybe if they have a movie that isn't available anywhere else. Of course the worst is still Target Ticket as they can't even deliver 5.1 sound!

hanshotfirst1138 07-28-14 05:48 PM

My UV copy of Refn's Drive is in 1.78. Tired contacting UV and Vudu, and neither seems able to help.

Yay! Vudu sent me a $5 coupon! Is it a once a year thing because I never buy from them? I wish there a way to disc-to-digital that didn't go into Walmart's damn pocket.

100 films for 99 cent rentals. Says for two weeks and it just showed up this morning (yesterday the 99 cent rental of the day took you to the day's rental, today it takes you to this).

I have to burn through $2 worth of credit before this runs out, recommendations?

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

There's some good ones in there but it depends on what your taste is and what you haven't already seen. Remember they did something like this the last week of 2010 but haven't again til now- wonder if this'll be a regular thing changing every 2 weeks instead of the one daily title? I usually can't bring myself to pay more than 99 cents for a rental, especially since there's been a few times when my so-called high-speed internet couldn't play them in HDX without buffering. They should at least reduce the older movies to $2 or so, $5 is too much.

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

If I don't use up the $2 by the 31st I lose it so I don't really care what I get, they gave me the credits for free (and I never buy from them, just redeem BD codes). I had $5 at the beginning of the month and got The Ninth Gate, Hackers, and Goodfellas so far (I haven't seen them yet).

Ummm.... as Vudu is owned by Malwart, there are damn few Vudu dollars you can spend that won't go nito Malwart's damn pocket. lol

hanshotfirst1138 08-27-14 06:30 PM

I know that, and of course, it's the only purchase-streaming service worth a damn. I'm still not going to put cash into their pocket if I can. I got True Lies because you couldn't get it elsewhere, but I'd be a lot more incentivized to use their D2D if they weren't owned by Walmart. As it is, I'll just wait on those coupons and use my UV codes. Does UV proper have a D2D?
