Definitely tempted to grab Orville. Only hesitation is that Season 3 will be coming out as a HULU exclusive. Been bit in the past buying part of a series to later have better bundles with the newer seasons or not wanting to buy later seasons due to price of just the other season or seasons.

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

Yeah. Grabbed Orville since I had credits. Hopefully don't regret it if/when Season 3 is out.

Did notice that My Name is Earl was all SD yet HD exists at other retailers. Also noticed VUDU only has Season 1 of Breakout Kings (from same team as Prison Break even including a Prison Break character crossover in 1 episode).

i had to get this for 25. Buffy is one of my favs of all-time and this includes the S8 motion comic. just perfect. Vudu SD never looked that bad to me...

is it in HD on Hulu? i went to page, but couldn't see where it says how shown...

Complete Bond is $100 HDX or $150 UHD. If only they were both $100.

Or $10 again. I missed that one.

Yeah I got that Bond $10 deal. Luckily I checked this site when someone posted it after Midnight.

I had some $3.99 movie offers in My Offers today. Lincoln Lawyer, Manchester by the Sea, and Good Will Hunting were $3.99 each. I ended up getting Manchester By The Sea. I already had Lincoln Lawyer on HDX. I could have gotten the UHD for $3.99, but decided not to for now. I may end up getting Good Will Hunting. The offers are good for 15 days.

So is collecting digital copies become a new thing?

;)

I’ll probably get Return of the Pink Panther at $5.99. It used to be the oddball of the series in that it was released by Universal and not in the MGM PP sets, but now it’s credited to MGM, and iTunes has a PP set with that included. Weirdly, that iTunes set also has A Shot in the Dark, which Vudu doesn’t have at all.

I checked the Bond price at midnight PT, but still no $10 deal. :(

The UHD is down to $100, though, which is tempting. I know it’s a ton of movies, but I’ve been reluctant to pull the trigger at $100 HDX, maybe because I bought “complete” sets three times on physical media.

They have odd random holes like this. I didn’t D2D my BD of The Mission because it was SD only on the service, and I once pinged their CS because the first few seasons of HIMYM were SD only. A year or two later, both issues were fixed!

Bought Bond on UHD for $100 (good deal at $4.17 a movie) and Buffy for $25.

Yeah but no price like that for UHD.

I can't justify buying these movies yet again. Good price if you don't already own them.

I did buy the Linda Ronstadt documentary in HDX for $7.99 and the new Springsteen film in UHD for $9.99.

Now if I could just find someone selling the digital code.

I got Drop Dead Fred for $5 yesterday. I also saw the season 1-6 bundle of Last Man Standing was being sold for $24.99 it almost seems like an error but its not the first time I have seen it offered at that price.

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

I haven’t looked around yet, so not sure if this has been posted, but iTunes also has them for $10 each and each actor’s bundle is on sale too. Most of the bundles come out cheaper than VUDU 2/$15. Couple that with an iTunes giftcard you purchased for 15-20% off.
(EDIT: looks like Vudu bundles are same price)
But, lets not forget iTunes has Extras on some of these that Vudu doesn't. (I only checked a couple)

Daniel Craig - 4 movies/$29.99 - $7.50/each
Sean Connery - 6 movies/$29.99 - $5/each
Roger Moore - 7 movies/$29.99 - $4.28/each
Pierce Brosnan - 4 movies/$24.99 - $6.25/each
Timothy Dalton - 2 movies/$14.99 - $7.50/each

Yeah, those $30 complete Bond codes were back when UV was around and you could use VPN to redeem a UK code. I got one back then too.

Weird, they didn't add it to the current "bundle" sale but it's definitely matching the series that are currently on sale in itunes.

If it's still there in a few more days I might go ahead and buy that bundle. I've always enjoyed the series.

What We Do in the Shadows is on sale. That movie is hilarious and I've been wanting it for years now. Finally picked it up. I'm tempted by that Bond 4K deal.

We'll find out on 4/13 (the delivery date) if it worked.

The credit for this never materialized, so I guess it really was just for recipients of the email. Oh, well. It got me to start making some lists.

I also feel the same. I have all the James Bond movies on BD & all but 2 of them have never been open. I tried to sale
them on CL a number of times with no takers.

I sold my older blu sets on eBay for good prices. Granted it was a few years ago, but I did unload them. I also did have some individual ones, where I found some cool retro custom art and was able to sell those off.

The digital copies don't have any extras, right? I wouldn't unload my Blus for digital copies that were bare-bones.

The Bond movies have extras on ITunes.

But, on Vudu the majority don't. I think only a few of the Craig movies have some.

I checked a bunch of them, and Spectre has a lot of stuff, and a couple have featurettes (Casino Royale, Tomorrow Never Dies), but the others have nothing, which Is pretty disappointing. Not even the other two Craigs. As mentioned earlier, iTunes has some featurettes that Vudu doesn’t (I checked Dr No and Goldfinger). And of course no MA sharing. :(

I was leaning toward getting it but that might’ve tipped my lean back. :(
