Yeah I do not care for the English dubbed version of foreign movies, unless they also offer the original language.
Good thing I kept my HD_DVD copy.

Charlie's Angels UHD 4K Disc + Digital - $24.95

https://www.vudu.com/content/movies/...Angels/1299332

It's MA, so it'll transfer to the other services. It looks like MA has all the special features from the disc.

If you've been waiting for a discount on Doctor Sleep, it's now $9.99 for the 4K UHD version that has the 3 hour director's cut

Terminator Dark Fate is now $14.99 and includes the audio commentary that the physical media doesn't have.

It’s been years since I saw it, but it’s classified by IMDb as drama-comedy, so as host of the comedy challenge, I’ll allow it. :D

I've seen the theatrical cut twice. It's already very long at 2 hours and 30+ minutes.

Have not seen the director's cut. It's an extra on the movie.

For a blind buy and $10 I guess it's fine.

FYI - Same price on iTunes (NOT MA) and you get 4k

I appreciate the response! I already blew my movie buying budget for the month, but really liked the book. Might have to blind buy this ...

I guess if you saw the theatrical cut twice you liked it enough!

Yes, I saw it in the theatre, but I unfortunately dosed off for about 25 minutes of it. Not because it was boring, but I under-estimated how tired I was coming off work the previous day. So I rented it again on Red Box a week or so ago and I enjoyed it.

It's not the kind of movie that has lots of replay value IMO. I went ahead and got it mainly for the director's cut, but probably won't watch it right away as it's still too fresh in my mind.

According to posters on Reddit & blu-ray.com, Walmart is dispensing Vudu codes for 5 free movies when you purchase a gallon of Great Value milk. Posters on blu-ray.com also indicated that it also worked on the 2% 1/2 gallon container as well.

The free movies:
An Officer and a Gentleman
Beavis and Butthead Do America
Carriers
Crocodile Dundee
Death Wish - Original
The Delicate Delinquent
The Far Horizons
Freedom Writers
Ghost
Hey Arnold! The Movie
Hot Rod
In & Out
Indecent Proposal
It Takes Two
The Italian Job - Original
Primal Fear
Rango
Rat Race
Rules of Engagement
Sands of Iwo Jima
School Ties
Stalag 17
When Worlds Collide
Witness
Young Adult

This may be a YMMV, since it was active for only one day last week but people at blu-ray.com have been reporting last night & this morning that this was working again, so this is worth a try!

Added - just want to add that the code expires 3/20/20

I just got back from Walmart. Got two 1/2 gallon 2% on same order and got 2 codes.

I am now the proud owner of two 1/2 gallons of Great Value 2% milk yet received no codes. Don't drink dairy so out $2.62. Bought them on separate transactions which might be the problem.

Well. Was out near another Walmart and thought I'd give the 2 on 1 receipt a try. Nope. No code. Not willing to try full whole gallon. We have someone who we can give the four 1/2 gallons.

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

Looks like NBCUniversal (owned by Comcast) may be buying VUDU.

https://variety.com/2020/digital/new...du-1203511014/

Comcast’s NBCUniversal is looking to add some Vudu into its streaming-video mix.

The media conglomerate is in talks to buy Vudu, the Walmart-owned entertainment rental, download and free-streaming service, sources confirm to Variety. It’s unclear what the terms of the pact would be or the timing. News of NBCU’s interest in Vudu was first reported by the Wall Street Journal.

The speculation is that NBCU would merge Vudu with Fandango Now, the online-video transaction site that’s part of ticketing service Fandango (after it bought M-Go in 2016). It would boost NBCU’s digital-video presence as it preps the launch of Peacock, a streaming service that will have a hybrid free and paid model, stocked with originals, licensed content and library programming (including the full run of “The Office”).
Not sure how to feel about this.

As long as I don't lose a single movie or TV show. I just have too much that is not MA.

I zero confidence that Comcast will retain everyone's movie collection...and my entire digital collection is on Vudu - I've never been an iTunes guy. :(

On the positive side, when NBCU bought M-Go they didn't make any major changes. They just rebranded the service. And I feel they've actually made some improvements.

On the negative side, the only customer service worse than Vudu is Comcast. I don't want to spend an hour on the phone waiting to talk to a "support specialist" in India where they'll transfer me to another department and I'll get disconnected.
