After you redeem the code, you'll see a Watch button appear under the poster on each movie page. Hit the Watch button and it'll take you to a checkout page which shows the discount applied to your rental.

Don't go through the normal rental process (using the Rent button). That will charge your account like a typical rental.

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

I used it on Toy Story 4. I tried to use it on Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, but it was giving me an error message. It was in Early Access and not available to rent and that's probably why it was giving me an error. It had a watch button on it though....

Yeah that isn't available for rent until it comes out on Blu Ray in 2 weeks

Since it's free, I used it for "3 from Hell."

Thanks for the code. I got Bloodline, in which Stiffler plays a Dexter-esque serial killer. (Obligatory "Stuckmann liked it.")

I would just say that, IIRC, based on my past experience, you'll have until the end of that 30 days or 24-48 hours to finish watching it, whatever arrives first. So don't start it at the last minute, expecting to watch it on the 31st day.

It won't show up until you check out. The prompt will then appear saying it's a free rental.

I would recommend redeeming it and picking a movie as soon as possible. Once you rent a movie, you have 30 days to start watching it.

Vudu has pulled codes early in the past. They claim that the limit has been reached. This one is already on Slickdeals.
Code is still working, thanks

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

Those are good deals for folks who don't have any of the titles. That said, I can't wait for October to be over so I can have a sale on something other than Horror films.

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

The $2 credit from the last chance to watch promotion is going to expire on the 26th. I was looking for something to buy. I tried to scan a bunch of DVDs and the either wouldn't read on my computer or weren't eligible for disc to digital. I ended up buying Anna and the Apocalypse. It was on sale for $6.99 and I got it for $4.99 with my credit.

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

I know it was on sale just last month, but I was hoping the original Halloween would be marked down again before, uh, Halloween. Oh well. I just signed up for Shudder and it's on there, so I'll still get my fix. Can't wait for Joe Bob Briggs tonight!

For future reference, does anyone know which HD transfer Vudu is selling, the original or the 35th anniversary? (I tried to ask on the Vudu forum, but the post was never approved for some reason.)

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

If you entered the free rental code last week, here's a reminder to use it. I had almost forgotten and noticed my account just now says it expires in 8 hours, 27 minutes. Odd time since that makes it around 10:46 this evening for me.

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

Weird. I still have the complimentary rental listed in my account, but when I try to rent something, it doesn't show up.

Edit: Never mind, you have to click on Watch to acquire the rental.

Vudu barely announces these anymore and it has already dropped from $3 to now $2.

I only have about 400, but I invested a lot of $ in those movies and TV shows.
