It's an All Cage Weekend!

Seriously, they even have movies like Fast Times where he played bit parts. Although, they're missing the Disney films like National Treasure, Con Air, Gone in 16 Seconds, The Rock, etc.

I'll probably pick up 7-8 titles. I'm missing a few from the 80's & 90's like Birdy, Rumble Fish, Guarding Tess, Bringing Out the Dead, Vampire's Kiss, Racing With the Moon, Moonstruck.

On a side note, seeing them all together reminds me of how many great movies Cage has been in over the past 35 years. He might be stuck in DTV crap now. But he's had some amazing roles.

Was 8MM ever released on Blu-ray stateside? I'll probably go for that one - and I hope it's in surround and in its proper OAR.

8mm is not OAR at Vudu. It's 1.85:1. The frame has been opened to show more picture at the top and bottom. So it's not cropped, but I still prefer the proper framing. Amazon and FandangoNow have the same transfer.

Movies Anywhere has it in the correct OAR 2.35:1 and 5.1 audio. So if you have a device with the MA app (like Roku) you can watch it there.

is it really a big deal if a movie is not shown digitally in correct OAR? i mean unless it goes from WS to FS, i don't see the big deal. HD is HD digitally...

8MM is on MA. But it’s spelled with an Eight instead of the number.

I checked iTunes, and they have the same 1.85:1 version that all the other stores have. So the only OAR option is the MA app.
