Re: The Roku Thread
I think it also depends on how good your 4K display does presenting 2K content. I bet if we had a TV bigger than 55 and sat closer than 6-8 feet we'd be more inclined.

On mine, I just click on the center of the joystick button when the Skip Ad message appears.

Just switched back to my Roku3 after playing with the Fire Cube (1st gen) and found it lacking. But I am a bit shocked the SiriusXM app on Roku does not have video content but the Fire did. Why is Roku behind on this?

Re: The Roku Thread
The Fire TV app is basically a modified version of their Android app. Roku is a standalone, specialized platform so it's usually lags a little behind on getting new features (because Sirius doesn't want to spend money on it)

Did Roku get rid of Fandango Now? I can't find it anywhere after the new OS update.
There used to be a section dedicated to Fandango Now movie and TV purchases, but now it's nowhere to be found.

On my Roku Ultra, the Fandango Now movie store disappeared and I don't see it anywhere.

I don't see it at all. Completely gone. Weird thing is if I use my remote to search a movie I have on Fandango Now, it will pop up in the search.

Yeah I checked, It’s not turned off. This is my home screen. No sign of TV and Movie Store

Re: The Roku Thread
Did you try restarting the Roku? This would happen to me in the past from time to time, and restarting the Roku would fix it.

Re: The Roku Thread
I received a Roku Streaming Stick + for Christmas to replace my three year old Roku Streaming Stick. I really like the new model. It's great to be able to turn my tv on and off and adjust the volume with the Roku remote. Voice search is a nice new added feature. My only complaint is that it took awhile to log into all my streaming services on the new Roku. I spent about 45 minutes setting it up and logging into Roku, YouTube, Prime Video, Hulu, and etc.

AT&T Now, formerly DirecTV Now, is ending support for Roku devices and TVs.

Re: The Roku Thread
i hear the platform is struggling (unlike other ones, it isn't a skinny bundle, the smallest bundle starts at $65), this would mean a few less developers on staff. Plus AT&Ts uverse streaming app never showed up on Roku.

Re: The Roku Thread
My latest Roku update seemed to have eliminated the option to see the latest channels (no matter how big or small the content) that have been added and now all I can see is the "new and notable" (which was an option before the last update).
