Roku Streaming Projector

Roku & 3M have teamed up to make a portable streaming projector. The projector uses a DLP chip with 60 lumens, 800x480 resolution and up to 120-inches. It has built-in WiFi and HDMI input. It also has a rechargeable lithium battery (2h45m runtime) or you can use an AC adapter. Obviously it won't replace your HDTV, but it looks like a cool little toy.

Pre-order is up at Amazon for $299 (with a $20 Instant Video credit).

Re: Roku Streaming Projector

That resolution is too low, but it sounds like - as you said - a fun toy to play around with. The question is, after I fuck with it for a bit, how often am I really gonna use it?
